  Predatory loan agents for sure. Do not take a loan out with this institution. you borrow 8500.00 and end up paying 17000.00. If you ask for a deferred payment they will charge you 145.00 up front before they give you the deferment. The payment that you are making in the first two years goes on the interest they charge and not the principle balance. This is what happen to me. The loan is in my husband name. This is true account of what they do.

  Negative stars. Needed a small loan and intended to pay it off right away. I was told there was no penalties to pay off early so the agreed upon payment was $200. First payment they took was for over $220, no big deal since its the only payment before i would pay it off. I understand obnoxious interest rate on a $3000 loan and i gathered the money to pay the whole thing after the loan only being 1 month old and my payoff after 1 payment was already made was $3750!?!? Long story short, they are plain thieves. They do not deserve to get anybodys business.

  One Main Financial is a predatory loan. You don't want to take a loan with them. For example you borrow 8500 you will end up paying back 19000.00 back. A small portion of your monthly payment will go to the principle balance and the rest goes towards the interest lets say you payment is 256.00, 50.00 goes to the principle and 206 will go to interest. I don't recommend One Main Financial to ANYONE!

  Very hard place to get a loan, site says won't effect your credit but it does?
