Mike Laures1I am dealing with the long term disability benefits portion of the company and am thoroughly unimpressed with their performance. Was given dates that my claim would be reviewed by and they came and went. WHOMEVER is running their clinical review department must be incompetent or deliberate in slow walking my claim. Faxed MULTIPLE release of information requests to them and STILL had to get my medical records myself FOR THEM...what kind of clown show are they running ??

George Piersall1I was told my annuity was being deposited on 09/01/2021. A few days went by and my bank did not have pending deposits. I called them and spoke with this guy name Dennis. He said the direct deposit was sent to my bank and give it more time More time went by and finally I asked for his supervisor. She assured me the direct deposit would be taking care of. Well, my bank did not get it again. I asked for yet another supervisor. I told them I was about to contact the Attorney General and file a consumer complaint. They said they were sending it right out. imagine that. Its in my account today.

Amy Fynmore1This retirement company is the worst retirement company I’ve ever experienced. The dispersement department doesn’t meet deadlines, are not responsive, and their systems email function cuts off every message half way so you have to call every time. Apparently the customer service department is scared to talk to the dispersement team and refuses to escalate issues. We have had to call every day for the past 2 weeks and still have no resolution. I don’t know how this company stays in business when they can’t even handle routine requests. On Thursday, we were told a check would be “overnighted” and to expect delivery within 48 hours. That was 5 days ago. Yesterday, customer service said “it should be delivered today” and to “call back if it doesn’t arrive.” Today, customer service said “well, we told you it would take 8-10 days.” I would be happy if I never had to deal with one america ever again.

C Creighton1OneAmerica has the worst customer service I've experienced from any agency. After verbalizing, writing, and faxing well in advance what needed to occur for my retirement funds to be rolled to my new account correctly, they failed to deliver. They both failed to communicate and/or adhere to the request to complete a simple form required for my new company to deposit the 401k checks. OneAmerica simply mailed the checks without adhering to the given instructions nor informing me of their policy not to complete forms. As a result, my retirement checks were left without being deposited due to not receiving the required documentation pending to be returned to them in 10-15 days due to the error. I made contact with the agency several times to no avail. In addition, I was denied the opportunity to speak to a supervisor after requesting multiple times. After a week of conversation in circles, I get an emailed reply stating , "This email is in regards to your recent contact with OneAmerica. Per the consultant, you will need to work with your employer. OneAmerica does not complete this form." If you decide to use this company just know they will give you a hassle when you want to rollover, withdraw, or stop using their services. Something extremely shady is underway.

Brandon Lee1I did a rollover to another financial firm as a result of leaving the company with the 401k plan. It took about 1.5 months rather than the 2 weeks it should have.
