  My experience with One Detroit Credit Union has been unsatisfactory. They have not been helpful with providing enough programs for loans for people who have scores under 580. Instead, you get turned away constantly. You are made to feel like you are worst person and customer. People should not be identified by three numbers. Some of us took the worst hit during the pandemic. In addition, I sometimes of us have been in danger of losing assets due to debt. Instead of looking at a person's character and long work history, all it is about the numbers just like banks.

  I was trying to get a bank statement, but there app doesn't work properly. They wanted to charge me $5 for each statement. Waiting on a 100,000 check just need my statement. I will not deposit one dime in this bank. I'm switching to Lake and Trust Credit Union!

  I’ve been a member with this CU for about 13 years and have gotten comfortable with them but this is my last straw . I got hit with a courtesy fee 3 times when I had money available and when I called to get help I had to call 3 different times because no one would pick up the phone and when I do get someone on the phone she was no help at all and I told her this is not the first time this have happened to me I just didn’t call because I knew they are not going to help me and can give no care about their member

  The bank talks about impowering those of us in the neighborhood, it's all lies, they approved me for a loan then denied. This bank is unorganized and unprofessional.

  Great for getting fast small loans as needed, but customer service on the phone can be curt at times. I observed unnecessary rude treatment towards a customer at the Highland Pk branch. Overall phone service has much improved. Rates are better than other CU's. Very ideal for savings accounts.

  HORRIBLE customer service. No greeting or instructions for people needing consultation upon entering. After asking for assistance, the teller Charlotte informed me there was no additional staff to help, however, her and another staff member were not helping customers. To my surprise, another staff member came to help, which showed Charlotte lied about no staff being able to help. All in all this was the WORST experience I have EVER had as a potential new customer.

  When I was having trouble with my ATM PIN number, I went to the Howard Branch. I only waited a few minutes and observed one teller being exceptionally kind to a confused old man. The teller who waited on me was efficient, professional, thorough and kind also. Her name was Shandel. I believe in Credit Unions, especially now that we have what bad actors the banks are.

  Absolutely theee worst CU you can do business with their slow with everything they do and when you call no one answers you walk in their sitting down doing NOTHING the Howard street location. When I’m with loans I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM NOR REFER THEM BAD BUSINESS. If you want you business handled promptly DO NOT DEAL WITH ONE DETROIT HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

  If I could go somewhere else I would! Customer Service has diminished greatly over the past couple years. They are slow when processing anything, quick to add $31 "courtesy pay" fees and won't reverse them at all!! I've been at the CU for 12 years and they still deny me loans! They don't communicate, you have to keep calling to check on things its ridiculous! Don't go here!

  Most terrible credit union I’ve ever seen. Wish I’d read theses reviews before I opened an account there. Hate I got direct deposit. I been with this bank for like 2 months and I hate it. Online services and resources are horrible. Their call centers never answer the phone. You have to go directly into a branch to conduct any business. I’m closing this account ASAP. Going to another credit union with more business smarts and customer services. Hate I even joined. So upset. Just a lot of inconvience. Take my suggestion. Please stir far far away or you’ll regret it.
