One Credit Union Reviews

Frozyre2I am up to my neck with this bank. They've been my go-to for living in Vermont but for the first time ever, I am having second thoughts of finding a different bank. Which is personally saddening to me because I want to be a loyal member, but if you do things as a bank that causes me great inconveniences that raises my stress levels, then I'm going to reconsider bothering on using you. I've tried pulling a personal loan out, but I got talked down to by one of the tellers like as if I'm a child asking for $5 from their parent. They never even responded to my e-mails when I was asked what the purpose was, leaving it all hanging in the air for all I know. Their restrictions and limits are awfully stressful. Get a pin wrong a few times? Welp, that's 24 hours you've gotta wait! Better hope where you make your purchases allow you to just run by credit! And this bank seems obsessed with pushing down this SecurLOCK App onto people. When I've lost my card or thought I've lost my card when really I've found it the next day after having looked for it a night before when I thought it was lost. They already blocked the card off and told me to get this app. Now, this app is only good if the CARD IS ACTIVE AND IF YOU HAVE IT! It is POINTLESS to have an app like SecurLock when you know, your CARD IS GONE! It just came off as a dumb lecture to me. The people might be nice at this location, but really, I'm finding myself at more odds in the cracks of their other sectors of services within this bank. Enough where I'm feeling more like I can't wait to be done with this bank in a few months when I move, to find something else, instead of feeling regret. Good job, guys...

Patricia Brauch5Have been with this credit union since the beginning when it was formerly United Community CU and have always found customer service at the South Barre branch to be exceptional. All of the tellers are pleasant, accommodating and helpful in every way necessary, should any issues arise. The office is neat, clean, and the lines never long should you need to go in (drive-thrus available). The crew there has really made my banking carefree and easy. They were also helpful when I had a question about my account over the phone today as well!

Norman Flibotte5We have been banking with One Credit Union for at leastv30 years. Everyone has been knowledgeable and very patient with us. We have had several loans over the years. We would not ever think of leaving One Credit Union for another financial institution in Vermont. Its nice to feel like our Credit Union is like family. Thank you South Barre Credit UNION.
Response from the ownerThanks for being a loyal member of One CU, Norman! We're glad to hear you're pleased with our service.

Amanda1I have been using this bank since I was a child. They are absolutely rude, unknowledgable and every service member in Springfield should be fired. I reported a fraudulent claim against my checking/atm card. Their response was that I need to contact the business who wrongfully charged me to get them to cancel the transaction otherwise there ia nothing they can do. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. They do not protect their customers and are rarely respectful when dealing with these delicate matters.
Response from the ownerHi Amanda. Is there a way we can reach out to you so we can discuss this?

Darren Chambers1Everything i call with a question I get treated very rudely. The people are snobby and give me very snobby responses. They act like they don't care to help me. And I don't appreciate it. U figure they would want to help people.
Response from the ownerOuch – that’s not right! Jodi from our team will be reaching out to you today. Let’s get this fixed.

Owen Cummings1I wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt, since you’re a credit union and not a bank, but forget the differences of plans between the 2. They don’t matter if your customer service sucks.
Response from the ownerOwen - Ouch! We'd like to talk about what happened. Please reach out so we can discuss by calling Kevin at (800) 578-5024 x105.
