  Ohio Gold has exceptional customer service. I always find remarkable things to buy such as a brand new washer and dryer. I recently purchased an IPad that was in great condition. I would highly recommend checking them out.

  I phoned at 4:40 PM on Wednesday, 6/28/2017. After being transferred to the guitars and gear expert, I inquired whether they had any guitar cases available for purchase. The employee said "Nope!" and hung up on me while I was trying to thank him for his time. I called three other similar businesses with the same question, and was treated cordially and courteously by the employees at each place. I may have caught him at a bad time, or on a bad day, but just one experience like this can cost you a repeat customer.

  Had a last minute need to visit this location, on a SUNDAY. I came down from Akron (because, of course, none of the locations here were open), and I wasn't going on my behalf which was even more unnerving. They were super friendly and helpful and made my experience there very pleasant. I was able to relay options and make the transaction nice and quick which was so appreciated. Thanks again for your help!

  Best pawnshop around good people good vibes 10 out of 10 i won’t go anywhere else thanks for my car speakers I love them and my neighbor hates them lol if you still got that amp I wanted I’m coming today I don’t know if you read these but anyways great store thanks.

  I have put a couple of items in layaway here as I usually stop by and take my work break here. Recently I put an item in layaway and got one for Christmas. I called up there and asked if I can be refunded and they said it was store credit, which I was content with because I go there often. I went inside and they said it was defaulted and they sold it and my store credit would now be .68 out of the 60.00 I put down. Never going back!

  I will not pay the price Jewelry Store prices! Ohio Gold & Pawn is my favorite Pawn Shop to buy jewelry. Nice selection I always find 2 or more items the more is my problem Lol! Stop by and see for yourself. :)

  Bad offers for loans. Have a diamond ring I paid $5300 for and they offered me under $100. Laughable. Was only looking for $1000 loan. Went to Reads Jewlers in downtown Cleveland which is close to my work and they offered me $800 loan for the same ring!! At least they were in the ball park. Ohio Gold and Pawn is a joke!

  We appreciate the opportunity to do business with you. We offered you $125 on your ring. I'm sorry we couldn't offer you what you were looking for. We sell our jewelry cheaper than anyone in town. Jewelry is marked up 6 times in Jewelry store meaning a ring you paid $5,300 for has a wholesale price of around $900 (the amount you are asking for). Sometimes we beat our competitors by a boatload and sometimes they beat us. It's all based on supply and demand. Again, we appreciate the opportunity to serve you and we're sorry you were less than satisfied. We encourage you to consider us for your next jewelry purchase We will save you a TON of money.

  I took my tv. It was going for $290 on ebay, amazon used. I drove 25mins there and they insulted me with a $20 offer. They had a tv kind of like mine same size but no brand name for $179. Mine was a newer sony bravia 32". The guy told me he would sell it for $100. Why would the sony bravia sell for $100 but the no name brand tv that was same size but nowhere even close to as good as mine was sellin for $179. I went to an akron pawn shop and pawned it for $95. Cashland, any other pawn shop i highly recommend over this place. It is a new nice pawn shop. But thats about it. O yeah i even called them on the phone before i went there. Total waste of time and gas.

  Honest and fair so far. Bought some silver coins from them and the price was very fair. Lots of stuff, very clean place and the workers were very friendly. Definitely going to keep returning to catch more silver.
