Ed Hahn. Completely destroyed my Chance of purchasing A home. I waited almost A year before apply for loan just for ED, to give underwriting misinformation. The branch over in Garfield should be closed! Poor customer service! Out of date resources! My credit was 3 points away from 800 and Ed somehow dropped the ball… he gave underwriting false information far as my debit to income, yes I can’t believe it myself!! and it happened to me ! I hate to say this but I believe the color of my skin played A major role! In it…. hard to believe that A black women can owe one credit card company? Is it hard to believe that i never missed one payment on any of my credit cards ? My credit spoke for me ED, and their underwriting team tried to turn my information into false information. Even went as far as saying my tax preparer license were Suspend ! Like really ! How’d you manage to come up with such ? The IRS accepted my TAXES and issued full refunds. Say no to Ohio catholic!!!!! The nerve of the owner to reply more misinformation. How is that Ed, told me I owed two credit card companies? When in reality I only owed one! That’s just one of the biggest mistakes ED, handed over to underwriting. After hearing that… it’s no telling what all he did and didn’t present to the underwriting department. And don’t wish me luck, I don’t need luck… what I needed was A loan officer more forthcoming and more experienced. My income and taxes were official.

Hi Kalia, we value feedback from current members and potential members. We value that so much that we contacted the employee you directly mentioned in your review to confirm your account. It surprised us to read about your poor experience. He has received praise from both members and colleagues for his superb service. So it didn't surprise us when he provided documentation that he handled your mortgage application professionally and courteously. As you're aware, there are multiple factors that determine a loan approval beyond one's credit score. Google is not the proper place to detail the simple steps we requested you take to address our underwriters’ legitimate and reasonable concerns. Our mortgage and underwriting teams tried multiple angles to help you. We wish you the best.

I was a member of this credit union since it’s inception. Years ago I moved out of the area and filled out the typical change of address form and requested an electronic monthly statement to avoid the paper statement fee. After about a year, I decided to log on to my account. Low and behold, there is the SAME paper statement fee that I thought I was avoiding when I turned in the change of address form. Turns out they never changed my address or made the electronic statement change. After wasting my time after many phone calls with the manager, he re-deposited the fees they wrongly took and assured me my new address was finally correct. Fast forward to last week. I get a phone call from the branch informing me that after many months, my SAVINGS account is being charged an inactivity fee of $5.00 per month - “But this fee can easily be waived if I come in and either make a deposit or withdraw $.25!” Really? I can understand an inactivity fee for a checking account, but a SAVINGS account? In all the years I’ve been a member, I’ve never been charged an inactivity fee on a SAVINGS account. My bank doesn’t steal money out of my savings account, why should a credit union that bears a Christian name steal money out of my account? After insisting they replace the money they stole, without my knowledge, I was told they need approval from “upper management” and they would call me back shortly. After a week I never received that call. So, after many years of being with this organization that I TRUSTED since I was in grade school, I decided to stop the bleeding, take time off of work and go waste my time in closing my account. And guess what I discovered when I went into the branch? That’s right.. They STILL had my old address listed on file!!! UNBELIEVABLE!

Have been a member well over 25 years and my wife has been a member since its beginning in the basement of the school, That being said means "Absolutely Nothing" to this place, Anymore all they want to do is FEE you to Death, anything you want done is a FEE, use to be able to call on the phone to tranfer money from 1 account to another, Now they Charge a $3. FEE, took maybe 2 min on the phone now you must go in person and waste your time and a tellers time of at least 5 to 10 min. To avoid the Fee, and dont go through the drive through thats at least a 15 min wait if there is 1 car in front of you, 2 to 3 cars is ushally close to a half hour, And dont get use to seeing the same teller or anyone because the turn over rate is ridiculous. But the people you do talk to are very nice.

If I could give this bank zero stars I absolutely would. I joined after searching for a new credit union and by far the worst mistake I could have ever done! Charged a 30.00 courtesy fee, because of they paid an unauthorized charged and because I disputed it with the actual company, and the money was returned to my account they still wouldn’t waive the fee. I was told because I didn’t dispute with the Credit Union, that it was nothing I could do. During times like we are in right now and clearly no fault of my own this charge should have been removed. If you want customer service, fair practices run far away from this Credit Union because you won’t get it there!

No after hours phone line and debit card customer service # cannot help. If you have an emergency on the “off” hours you are out of luck. Not great business practices.

I’ve worked in customer service many years and understand sometimes I have to give a customer an answer they don’t want to hear. I always proceed with giving alternatives though and a next step they can take to resolve their issue. The first time in 4 years I’ve been with Ohio Catholic I needed assistance and Rebecca did not help me. She kept responding “I can’t answer that” and gave no other help about what she could tell me or what I could do for my issue. My mom made me join this bank years ago because of our religion but that wasn’t a very Catholic thing of Rebecca to do to a distressed customer.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service and customer follow up. No one there seems to know what they are doing. Take your money and run as fast as you can away from them. They need to be put out of business!!!

We have been members for 40 years. For the most part we love dealing with OCFCU. The Macedonia branch has a constant turnover. Very rarely do you see the same person twice. 3 years ago the online banking website was updated. What a nightmare! Overall like our experience with OCFCU. Never any penalties, good customer service.

These people have been slowly stealing the money my grandma has been scrounging up for me for decades. She would be turning in her grave if she knew. Also if you need to close your account so they stop taking from you, and you live out of state you need to send a snail mail with an actual signature in it, no doubt trying to get one last service fee out of my sweet grandmother's pocket, may she rest in peace. Well, there's only one service fee left, so enjoy it, "Catholics," y'all can share it amongst yourselves. Not to mention the lady on the phone did not have a great attitude at all. Of course I have you on speakerphone, I can't hold the phone and write simultaneously. Just repeat the information or get a better job if you're grumpy there.

Good rate on mortgage however I must say that when I requested payment coupons to keep track of my payments after 60 months, I was told they couldn't do that. Now, the original coupons were on an8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper that I had to cut into 3 coupons. Pretty low tech.
