Shana Mancera1Going in I have never personally had a bad experience with any of the employees always nice and professional, besides always have to wait in line for a minimum of 20 min each time and that is on a good day so be sure you don't have any plans or are in a hurry because it wont be quick. But calling in to the call center is a whole different story. I have had my card blocked 4 different times in the past 3 months and have had this bank for over 6 yrs not a single problem until these last few months. Having to call in wait on hold forever to find out my card has been blocked for a purchase I have made is getting extremely old especially when I have gone to use it and at checkout its declined. This has caused late fees on my power bill and extreme frustration to the point where I am seriously considering of switching banks and going elsewhere.

Frozen Record1Debit card quits working every few months and doesnt work for many purchases. To even use it you have to call them to allow it for many things, and if you call even 20 minutes before closing they say they are closed and wont answer. There is no way to activate my card because Iam at work until 6 and they cut me off when I get home.

jessica hayes5I am always treated so good any time I come here- no matter what it’s for. Their app is so easy to use and their hours are really convenient. Scott and Brandon were so helpful when I was purchasing my vehicle. They both went above and beyond to make me understand the process all the way through and made sure I felt good about what I was signing up for. I would hands down recommend them to anyone applying for any kind of loan and I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else.

Steven Dristy2When I go into the branch in Wasilla, I get good service. When I send a secure message, it takes 3-10 days to get a response that is seeking more information. When I call, I'm in the wait cue up to (and often over 30 minutes. Thats IF the customer service people even answer the phone! Customer service didn't used to be this bad, until NuVision bought Denali Alaskan. Now they are turning into another Wells-Fargo. Looking at other LOCAL credit unions now....

Christine Ward5Just got an approval for the Paycheck Protection Loan at 9pm! The business department has been working as quickly as possible to help us small business owners in the community. This will be a huge help in allowing me to keep my employees on the payroll. Very responsive to my emails and on top of this new loan process!! I can't thank Derek Dykman with the small business area and Scott Green with the Wasilla branch enough!

Mary Raska3Love the Wasilla branch the manager and tellers are exceptional. They need a drive through they are always packed a drive through would be so nice and would increase the star rating to 5 star. they have out grown that little nook they are crammed into

Christopher O'Hara1I've been a member for almost ten years and haven't had a problem until now. i had an accident that prevented me from working. being the sole breadwinner in my family i was scared. But luckily i had an accidental disability policy with my insurance company so everything should be OK right? well that's what i thought. after receiving the disability check that was set to get my family back on track after a month of me being out of work (i'm starting to worry about how to feed my daughter by this point). i go to the bank to try to deposit the check. they put it on hold but were going to release a small portion of it for me to use the following day. i could have worked with this. sure now i can get some basic groceries at the least. But the money was never released. i waited a day or so, for human error is expected to some degree. then i called the bank to figure out why it was never made available to me or why i was not notified at all about anything. they said the branch manager just decided not to release it. i call my insurance to figure out if there is any reason for the bank to withhold the money. come to find out that the check was taken from their accounts the very next day after i tried to deposit it. they have had my money for almost a week and have just decided not to give it to me. i have bills to pay and mouths to feed and I've depended on this bank for years. now i'm terrified i cant feed my daughter just because they don't feel like releasing my money. now while the issues may have been out of my control, i am a butcher not a banker...and one thing i do know is taking care of the people who make sure i have a job. Every employee i talked to including the branch manager has treated me like i'm some sort of criminal trying to pull one over on the bank. i'm just trying to take care of my family and i hope that no one ever feel how stress full this entire ordeal as been

Robin Adams5Have been banking here for 2 years, the associated are always kind and helpful. I love that they are open on weekends and later in the evenings than most banks! The app also makes handling my money quick and easy.

Zer0 Deaths1Terrible services and the fake politeness of the employees is a turn off. Especially that creepy sack of lard Shon Go to First National Bank. No long lines and you get actual help from REAL people. Not like talking to those bricks in Carrs.
