Northwest Bank Reviews

Kendall Grace Masters1My bank was purchased by Northwest and then they closed down the branch nearest to my house. I have tried going to the ATM at this branch several times (driving several miles out of my way to get there) and I have been dissatisfied every time. One day I waited in a line for the ATM for 15 minutes while the person in front of me was waiting at the window. I don’t know what the person inside was doing, but it took so long that I ended up having to leave to make it to an appointment. Another time, the ATM was out of order. Then another time, the ATM wouldn’t accept my deposit. I have had to go to two other locations just to make a deposit because the other Northwest branches also have issues. If you must bank with Northwest, I recommend the branch in Landisville - I have had the least amount of issues there.

Brandy S1My bank was sold to them and it was nothing but a headache. I was the only one in line waiting to get my direct deposit form signed and the employee was chatting away with another customer about personal things (she had already completed her transaction). I had to interrupt after a few minutes, she did not even acknowledge I was standing there, although she could clearly see me. Not impressed, the only reason I HAVE to keep the account open is because I am unable to switch one of my direct deposits. I would have closed it long ago and switched everything to my beloved USAA.

James Stotz4My bank was purchased by them. It was a nice change but it did have some growing pains. I like this branch and the employees are very helpful. The only reason its not a 5 star ratting is that sometimes it moves a little slow as it appears always under staffed.

Rachel1The people here are very nice my problem is the online banking is terrible. My bank was sold to northwest and it as been nothing but trouble since then. On multiple occasions I've paid bills and it was in the Q that I paid them but then they go unpaid. This past time none of my Bill's were paid. So far I have 34$ in late fees. I called the bank she had the nerve to ask me if I took a screenshot of when I paid my bills. I ask her if that was a thing do people really take a picture when the pay their bills. I just assumed that the bank's going to hold their end of the deal. But I guess not. So I'm moving on to another bank

J ROCK1Only reason I'm giving them one star is because I can't comment without rating. I go in get my check cashed and it literally takes them 10 minutes when I'm the only customer there. To put the topping on the cake she checks the signature which is standard but she checks it 8 or 9 times. I'm seeing this go on the she goes on the phone and reaches her mng to which she too checks the signature. After they're done chit chatting she comes over with the money and ID and stares at me the whole time while counting the money. Honestly I know you guys are going to read this but I felt really uncomfortable when it's not even my first time in your bank. I felt out of place and treated like a criminal. Don't assume because a working tax paying MAN comes in flip flops, shorts, and a shirt don't mean he's a criminal. Retraining and common sense is the best way here. And all this because the signature didn't look "Correct"
