Daena is a wealth of knowledge in the personal protection department, he’s also wicked knowledgeable about hunting guns. North Chatham outfitters takes care of their customers and the locals. Give them a shot on anything outdoor related before you go to any of the big chain stores!

  I wish I could give them 500 stars. They went above and beyond helping me with a firearms transfer. My local FFL was making them jump through hoops and they didn't mind doing what it took to get the transaction going. The staff members were very respectful and went out if their way for me. I can promise ill do future business with them.

  Absolutely terrible, I live an hour and 45 minutes away the 1st time I drove out there I was instructed there would be a man there who would be able to fix my reel. When I got there there was no one there to fix my reel and I was forced to leave it there for it to be repaired and have to come back and pick it backup at a later date. Mind you I live, like I said, an hour and 45 minutes away. After a week I called and was instructed that there was a small spring missing and to fix the reel they would need to order the spring. The spring was $8, ok cool. Then after 2 weeks of them having the reel I called to inquire about how it was coming along. At that point they then tell me it was "ready to pick up" so I was unaware without checking up my item it was even ready. Then when I drive another hour and 45 minutes out there to pick up my supposedly "fixed" reel it's very clearly not fixed and they tell me its not missing any parts there is nothing they can do but suggest sending it to the manufacturer. Not that i would have paid it anyways but they charged me for no labor (because I doubt they ever even opened the reel) and never charged me for the 8$ spring it was supposedly missing. Which shipping on the spring is what supposedly took the 2 weeks for it to be fixed. They legitimately wasted 2 weeks with my reel, 6 hours of driving, hundreds of miles on my car and the kind of aggregation level you can only imagine went with it. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this store. I will absolutely never recommend this place to anyone. The customer service was and is a complete joke.

  Great place! We rented kayaks and they delivered and picked them up quickly. Very friendly and knowledgeable. We also bought fishing gear and they had recommendations of what catches fish locally and they were right!!! Our whole group caught strippers! Definitely recommend them!

  Incredibly helpful and knowledgeable staff of both hunting and fishing. They do not make you feel stupid if you are new to a hobby and help you every step of the way. If getting into tuna fishing, striper fishing, or hunting, I recommend going to talk to them before doing anything.

  Great service by informed local people, fresh bait, cool variety of fishing rods, accessories, and guns too! Stopped 3 times on my last trip.

  Stopped in for a few minutes and received A level customer service. Dana took the time to discuss many various items and it was a pleasure to bounce ideas around. These guys are great! I will continue to do business with NCO in the future!
