Extremely cold, condescending tellers and managers. I avoid this location at all costs. Every time (literally every time) we have stopped in, the tellers give us the feeling of being unwelcome. There are usually 2 standing and one head teller sitting? at the counter coldly staring at us when we come in. If we have any questions they all kind of look at each other as if we are criminals. I truly feel it’s because we are from the south and they are extremely racist. However, every other branch has wonderful employees. Unfortunately, because of this location we are looking to take our business elsewhere.

      Response from the owner

Tim, we focus on customer service for everyone who visits our branch whether a long time customer or a new visitor. We can say with confidence that it’s a very friendly branch and we enjoy working with ALL of our customers. We would like to talk with you but are not finding Tim Francis as a current or former customer so we don’t have your contact information. Please call us asap so we can discuss your experience (920) 496-8802.

This was an absolutely horrible experience. I was told that the bank would consider the history of the business I bought and ran me through the process. I waited about two weeks only to find out Brandon never did anything to work with me. I called and left a message and then only after that my credit was hit with a hard inquiry by Nicolet Bank. I received a call about 2 hours later from Brandon telling me he checked with underwriting and wanted to see a longer history of me with my company. After pressing Brandon he admitted he did nothing with my information and was just giving me an answer to go away. If you treat people like this who are not even with your bank, I would hate to see how you treat your actual customers. I went to US Bank and the process was smooth and they considered the business history and I now have another truck in my fleet to better service my customers.

      Response from the owner

Keith, On October 8, we received the email that you sent to the founding Chairman of Nicolet Bank. We read, in great detail, what you labeled a “not good experience”. Our Chairman’s response was as such, “Keith, as painful as it is to read, I am grateful that you took the time to explain your experience in such detail. I will be looking into what happened internally. Thankfully, your experience is not typical. It is so important that I hear the negative feedback. You are very clear that you do not want to revisit the idea of a relationship. If you were open to that, I would want to talk further with you. If you do want to talk further, my cell phone is…” The cell phone number that he gave you was his personal cell phone. True to his word, our Chairman investigated. We did drop the ball and for that we apologize. We also had a Senior Vice President reach out to you and apologize via a phone call shortly after your email on October 8. We have used this situation to remind our people of the importance of living our Core Values each day. In your specific case, we failed to do so. Again, this is not typical and we can assure you that more good came of this complaint than bad. It was an excellent opportunity to show exactly what can happen if we fail to live up to our promises. We also received the Google review detailing your experience and now we have received your BBB review. Our motto for our bank is Real People. Real Conversations. We have lived up to our promise of trying to have a conversation with you and to apologize from two senior executives at our bank. If you do want to talk about this further, please reach out to us. If not, we sincerely apologize and wish you well with your new business.

I have come to know Tim and Scott very well. They both do their best to make every experience a good one. It is nice to know that when I walk in everyone knows my name and makes my experience pleasurable . I will say that I haven’t had a bad experience with them.

      Response from the owner

Thank you for the 5 Star review! We're glad Tim, Scott, and the rest of the team are offering a good banking experience.
