  Great dealership! Yesiph the gm was very helpful along with his staff and the mechanic Harold were all great in all aspects of my experience with Newport motors. Definitely recommend to everyone looking to purchase a vehicle. Thank you Newport motors!

  David was a amazing I left what a car with everything I was looking for so that why I give one star... so I left with the car had it for about 5 days then the manager calls me and ask me to come in and said that they had some paper from the bank for me to sign and my payments where Lower so I go in and he tells me the bank denied me and I can Do in house financing and I had 3 options the cars where beat up high miles and tried to sale me a car that was already sold I just asked my money back then he says he can find anything car so I leave and he calls me and tell me that I better be back by 6 pm or something bad was going to happen to me him and my boyfriend got into it over the phone he got mad and was like I’m going to charge you for rental fees for having the car and so on and hung up in our face. I drop the car off and told him that I would like my money back he gave me my money back and said he would have something for me Friday I just kept walking he will never get my business any more he was rude nasty and threaten me. On something he missed up on how do you give someone a car take there money and the bank hasn not agreed with it and then lie about it. I feel sorry for his employees the way he talks and treat them

  If there was an option for 0, I would choose it. Bought a car from them, left happily. 6 months later car starts shaking badly and stalling on me. Cost me almost 2 grand to fix it. Got rid of it immediately. Do not buy from here they do stopgaps so your car will last a few months with no problems. Terrible dealership.

  Do not shop at Newport Motors. Dwan Smith is either a smooth talking dishonest man or he is incompetent. In either case, he is not worthy of trust. Brentt Mynhier is also not worthy of trust. The things they told me were found out to be false over the course of a few weeks. I gave them the opportunity to reverse the deal into another car on their lot, but they simply refused. It was the right thing to do, but they chose not to. Here is my story at Newport Motors. I purchased a car from Newport Motors on Sahara in Las Vegas. Dwan Smith was my sales person who's commission check was around $700-$1000 from my deal. Brentt Mynhier was desking the deal. Here is the list of everything that went wrong: Empty tank: They didn't fill my tank. Cost me $100. I wouldn't expect a full tank on a used car, but I do not think it is very considerate to sell a customer a car off the lot with it running on fumes. Dwan Smith followed me home to chase a check and was behind me at the gas pump. The least he could have done was offer to buy some gas. Especially with the size of his comission check. They didn't let me check with my mechanic. I asked if I could take the car to my mechanic and they did not allow it. Looking back, this was the warning sign to walk away from the deal. Other dealers would have no issue with this, but they obviously had something to hide. On the test drive, Dwan Smith told me it was factory tinted. I later found out this was not the case. Either he was lying or he does not know what factory tint is. Brentt Mynhier told me rate was 4.9%, but it came to 7.9%. Be careful what you hear with these guys because what you are signing will be different than what they told you. The next day the oil light came on. I took it back to the dealer and they replaced the oil sensors. It took 2 days because they had to wait for the part. I was not offered a ride home or to work nor was I offered a loaner vehicle. Tire pressure light was on. Dwan Smith told me there are no tire sensors because the rims were after market and you can only put them on factory wheels. Months later I found out this was not true. Either Dwan Smith was lying or he is not very knowleadgable about cars. Also, the carpet has a spoiled milk smell after their air freshener wore off. There were also stains in the carpet. They refused to clean it. It was night time when I bought the car and the smell and stains were not apparent at the time. After a week, the truck began to overheat. It was almost at the "H" line. Harold Moore told me that this was normal for that kind of car. I returned the next day because it was now in the red zone. Harold Moore ended up changing the water pump. This took another 2 days without a car while they waited for the part. After the water pump was replaced, the temperature stayed right in the middle of "C" and "H" and never went past it. I guess Harold Moore was either lying or he is not very knowledgeable about how engines work. In either case, he is not worthy of trust. Also, I though it was strange that I was not given any paperwork for any of these repairs. Harold Moore told me this is because the dealership is paying for everything so I really didn't need any paperwork. The lights would also dim when idle after cold start up and idle was rough. This would seem to go away after the car was warmed up. Also the check engine light kept turning on. Harold Moore said the dimming light was normal and he would get rid of the check engine light by resetting the battery. I found out later at another dealership, that my wire harness was fried and had appeared to have happened a long time ago. Once fixed the dimming and check engine light went away. Harold Moore was either lying or he does not understand how to properly diagnose check engine lights.

  Happy with Newport Motor they were very kind. help me get in a car i was satisfy . where no other dealer wanted to help me wanna thank these people for taking their time to help me get a vehicle. happy with my decision I would recommend Newport to others.

  Absolutely HORRIBLE. I buy cars frequently. They are by far the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. They are rude, pushy, and not empathetic one bit. They lie and say they'll clean out your car when they dont. They sell you a car in pieces. They give you the run around. And when trying to talk to someone that sold you the car, they said they dont work there anymore. When i returned the car, i walked in the door, and low and behold, there he was, sitting in the chair, still working there. Avoiding eye contact with me at all costs. Felt like a scam. So damn pushy, and try to make another "sell" before even finishing up the first one. I'm a salesman myself, and will be sending BBB (Better Business Bureau) down there to investigate. Do not waste your whole day with these people. Buy a car elsewhere. I'm CERTAIN they do their own reviews to try and keep their ratings up. DO NOT GO HERE.
