  Newcastles has been nothing short of a nightmare!!! Diamond Stephens refuses to respond to emails and phone calls when she is the contact person over the warranty. We are getting ready to hire an attorney. We paid a lot of money for our home but can’t seem to get anything fixed that is covered under warranty! We also pay a lot of money in HOA fees for NC to do absolutely nothing. They do not even keep up the common areas they are suppose to. Do not use this company!!!!

  Newcastle Homes built our first home and it has been amazing! The building process was fun and smooth - especially the design process. Anyone looking to build a home should consider using Newcastle - highly recommend.

  Professional staff that kept us informed throughout the process. Real estate team always responded quickly to our questions and needs. Construction team wanted us to be happy and actually went outside the box to accommodate us at the walk through.

  My wife and I were relocating from out-of-state so I could accept a new job. Newcastle came through in the clutch and built the perfect home at the perfect time that my family absolutely loves. The craftsmanship of the home is tip-top, and the home warranty and customer service have been excellent after closing. I also have to give extra-special thanks to sales agent Taneisha at the River Bend property for guiding us through the process and removing most of the stress from the process. She was a godsend. If a Newcastle home is on the table for your next purchase, definitely give them strong consideration.

  My wife and I are so happy with our new home built my Newcastle Homes! We moved in on Friday. Brighton and Jason were awesome! They were very professional and very concerned about our experience and made the whole process very smooth. They wanted to make sure everything was OK to our satisfaction and wanted to make sure we were happy. We definitely would recommend buying a home from Newcastle homes! Rodney and Melissa.

  Newcastle is an incredible company. I have had the opportunity to work with this company to help my clients find their dream homes, I have also built my own home with Newcastle and I now have the honor of working for Newcastle Homes. The owner and his family have set incredible values that make this a great atmosphere to work. If you have not been in a Newcastle Home you must stop by to see one. Newcastle Homes and their employees care about the work and quality of work being completed. Our home was build to the highest quality and if we had a question or concern about anything during the process we could ask and it would be addressed and fix immediately. They strive for excellent customer service and want their customers to LOVE their new homes. I would highly recommend Newcastle Homes as an agent and a Newcastle homeowner!

  The houses are decent. Sloppy details but still a little bit better than DR Horton. The real issues that myself and the residents of Newcastle’s Sweetwater community are having is with their HOA management and common area maintenance. The common areas are unkempt overtaken by weeds and it is impossible to get in touch with anyone to actually address the issue. The retention ponds are overgrown and the pipes draining them are obstructed the majority of the time which makes them hold more water than they should. This results in an absurd mosquito population. Those of us whose property backs up to these ponds can’t even open the gate on the back of our fences because the weeds are so thick. Newcastle runs the HOA until the development is complete so the residents have absolutely no way of getting anything solved. They supply yearly HOA spending statements which show outrageous amounts of money being spent on maintenance of common areas, street lights, entrances (one of the two hasn’t had working lights or fountain in months), and water, but won’t explain or give actual invoices to the residents to justify these ridiculous numbers. Once they have your money and the 1 year warranty work is done Newcastle doesn’t care about you. Many of us have reached out over the years but can’t get anything done by Newcastle. We’ve gotten to the point to where we are posting pictures on their Facebook page to get their attention but they just delete and disable commenting. If I had it to do over again I 100% would have gone with Signature Homes.

  I will repeat what previous person commented below as it’s the EXACT issues we are experiencing in Shelby Farms. “A huge issue is their HOA management and common area maintenance. It’s not rocket science. Seems to me it more about their bottom line and revenues in their pocket. During the home building process, it was fine. But once that closing document was signed and your year is up, it’s like you do not exist. Buyer beware! Several residents in our community have also informed our city’s council members as well about the neglect of our community. Shame on you NC. You should work on your “quality & high standards” to the ENTIRE community before it’s turned over to the residents to handle.

  I am a proud Newcastle Home Owner, and could not be any more satisfied with my home. Through the entire building process the staff was so helpful and made everything so easy. The quality of my home is remarkable and it is impeccably finished. Every small detail is taken care of, and you can really tell when you see the finished product. The realtors, builders, and office staff made this experience so pleasant. If you are looking to buy or build an affordable, quality home in the area- Newcastle is the company to go to.
