  Rude and very inconsiderate. During the pandemic my loan was 2 months behind. I owed $200.00. Instead of working with me through this rough time they sent me papers I was being sued. I have previously paid off 2 loans with Neches. This truly shows they are not out to help the people. My entire family will be moving banks.

  When I started working for the State of Texas, everyone said neches was one of the best if not the best credit union to be apart of. After also hearing that Teacher's Education Credit Union (Now Education 1st) was the worst, I would highly disagree. Education 1st took a chance on me. Someone who didn't even have credit established at the time, yet, they gave me my 1st ever auto loan at a 6.25 rate. I had GAP included in my $323/mth car loan for a 2015 Nissan Altima 3.5 SL (fully loaded) I got the car in 2016 so it was fairly new. Still under manufacturer's warrenty. My credit has gone up to 717 in just 3 years of having credit established! Education 1st Credit Union have been there in time of need with personal, holiday, skipping payments, during shut downs, natural disasters, and in this current pandemic. What have Neches did for me you ask? Gives me my paycheck one day in advanced is about it. I tried getting my 1 loan renewed there and the only issue, at the time due to COVID-19, was my debt to income ratio. They can see loans that were still current and showed I have a great payment on time history. I lost an income over the Summer and of course it will impact my debt to i come ratio, but my credit actually shot up! Neches is the one told me it was 717 score. Last I checked before then, it was 687. It's the holidays, my son will be 13 on the 30th of November, and I need extra cash. All I wanted to do was renew my current and only loan with them. DENIED! The rep Amanda, who been there about 11 years, actually said she have seen worser cases in my position and seen where "they" approved the customer. Not me! I did not get approved even though I never been late paying any loans I ever had, I pay in full, and my credit score was AND STILL IS great! So you tell me what could really be the issue. Hmm🤔🤷🏽‍♀️

  Rude customer service and Arrogant. I noticed the attitudes of customer service changed of the years .. Being that I have been a memeber since Beaumont Telco days so that should speak volumes. I noticed all AfricanAmericans and hispanics have been replaced. This bank changed the rules by the days. I have filled a formal complaint with the State credit union association I advised other to do so.

  I got my first loan from Neches and the service over the phone was 5 star. They called me back for updates. Nicole and Susan were awesome. I was treated fairly and with kindness from these ladies. I recommend this credit union. I've been a member since 2013.

  I’ve had great experiences with Neches. This is the ONLY credit union that I know who will try to help the community with car loans, Christmas loans etc. I would truly recommend them to all my family and friends.

  I've been banking with Neches for over 5 years . The customer service I receive is always Awesome. I love Mrs. Kelly the Branch Manager. Amazing person. The service that Neches offers beats most.

  Not the nicest people, not very helpful. Unless you’re opening an account they really seem like they don’t care about you. Mostly upper management and front desk. Drive through tellers are always nice

  always friendly and considerate. there is sometimes a little bit of a wait but that's just because it's in the middle of beaumont where a lot of people go. love my bank
