  Bought a beautiful gold chain that was in excellent condition and the price so so reasonable that I didn’t see the need for much negotiation. Tara has amazing customer service and although I only purchased the chain I seen many other items that sparked my interest. I will return for those items if they are still available. Great store, great prices and great people. I’ve shopped many pawns in the area and I must say that that NC PAWN & GOLD is among the top. Thanks and you’ll definitely see me soon.

  Oh my Wow!!!! I love the guys at NC Pawn!!! I ordered on Wish and the site gave me a 15 day window to pick up my items, but canceled my order way before the time given. Calvin (I think that’s his name) went OVER AND BEYOND for me and found my package through a sea of blind orders. Don’t shop at Wish people! But if you do and it happens to be sent to NC Pawn shop, you can count on the friendly service and help you need. THANK YOU GUYS AT NC PAWN!! YOU ROCK SO HARD!! ❤️

  I visited this shop for the first time today after reading all the positive reviews. I haven't been in a pawn shop in YEARS but have had some unpleasant experiences in the past. I went in to sell some jewelry straight out. I don't know the names but I was helped by an older gentlemen and possibly his son. These two were very nice and made me feel at ease, not like I'm a dead beat coming in off the street. They offered me what I figured to be a fair deal overall and took really good care of me. I've read they pay the best in Winston.... I could have rode all over town comparing offers but they were honest and upfront regarding the condition of my jewelry and I can tell these are genuinely good people. I wouldn't hesitate to do business again with them in the future. Highly recommended!

  These guys are always a pleasure to deal with. The store has a wide variety of merchandise and when it comes to selling or getting a loan, they are super fair, trust-worthy and helpful. Other pawn shops can seem like they love taking advantage of people - that's not the case here.

  First time there and it was fast and easy. In and out in 5 minutes. Great friendly staff. Would highly recommend this pawn shop to anyone that needs a quick loan or is just looking for a good deal.

  Came from thirty minutes away. Brought a really nice Bluetooth speaker that looks like an amp, valued at $250 when bought the year before and only wanted to give me $25 because I didn't have the cord. Told me it was only worth $100 even after looking it up in front of me when they went for $175 when he looked. Not a good place, don't be deceived.

  Read soo many reviews that I would get the most money for gold here. Was only offered $70 here for a 14K gold wedding band when everyone else offered at least $100! Do not recommend!

  My new haven. McKay's use to be my space for movies but I see myself walking an hour tomorrow -- easier to walk than take the bus -- because I didn't have time to look through the wide collection they have.
