  I am so thankful that I was referred to National Bank of Kansas City before choosing a lender for the purchase of our first home. We wanted to use our VA loan, and I'd heard it could be a tricky process, but Shane Cuevas at NBoKC made it easy for us. He was always prompt with returning calls or emails, patiently answered my 9 million questions, and kept me in the loop with everything going on on that end. Plus, we got a much lower rate than anyone else could compete with. We are very happy with Shane and NBoKC.

  One of my co-workers recommended National Bank of Kansas City for a VA loan, specifically Ms. Sharon Farnsworth. With her being located in K.C. and I in San Diego, I expected a few issues with communicating and responsiveness. This could not be further from the truth. Sharon exceeded all of our expectations. She was always on time, if not early, during every step of the process and readily available, even via personal cell phone after hours. I highly recommend her for a VA loan and will definitely be using her as my mortgage lender next time I buy a home!

  NBOKC has my business, both in the past and in the future. I first did a refinance with them a year ago and the process was very easy. The mortgage officer was impressively responsive and helpful. The rates were competitive and I felt I was getting a good deal on (no) points, (low) closing costs, and so on. Everything was as smooth as I could wish for, definitely better than experiences I've had elsewhere in the past. So this year I used NBOKC again for a purchase, used the same loan officer, and got the same stellar experience. Fast, affordable, super responsive, always helpful. A big thumbs up.

  I can't speak highly enough of Steve Johnson from National Bank of Kansas City and the professionalism he exude. I've worked with Steve to get my home loan approved from the bank and he is wonderful to work with. Not only he got me the approval well before in time, but also excellent rate of interest on the loan than any other bank. He always kept me posted with the latest updates on my file. He's always quick to answer my phone calls & emails. Guys from National Bank of Kansas city are real professional & they know exactly what the customers requirement is.   We chose National Bank of Kansas because it had some of the best rates in the country and they were recommended to us by those who had a good experience with them in the past. Glen Coger was our loan officer and was very helpful throughout the our loan process locking us in a great rate. Patience was another attribute of the representatives as the loan process can be stressful for all parties involved Glen responded to tense situation between parties in a calm demeanor. As this was our first time buying a home, keep in mind that they are very thorough throughout the loan process with all requested documents and the best thing you can do is to ensure you are highly proactive in responding to requesting information to help the process to completion. Beyond that be patient and keep the communication lines open.

  I did a refinance of my loan recently and i got a reference of Mr. Trevor Campbell of NBKC through friends. Mr. Trevor is a very professional and very good in explaining things that I didn't understand. he is very prompt in replying to my emails and updated the status of my loan almost daily during the process. He got a very good rate for us and was so happy to work with such a nice person. Comparing to my previous loan, this time it was so quick and so smooth.   Kerry Hart was our mortgage representative. He is incredibly efficient and closed our VA loan in just under 30 days, which is unbelievable. His professionalism was exhibited in every way. He was friendly, knowledgeable and sympathetic. I worked with him for just over two years before we actually found a house we wanted and he demonstrated patience and interest in our process every step of the way. We have bought many, many houses over the course of our lifetimes, and never have we had such a great experience as in financing this particular home. If I could rate this company, and Kerry in particular, ten stars, I would!!
