  I deposited a payroll check by phone and 2 hours later the funds were still not there. So, when I went to pick up my car from an auto shop it was declined. I’m now carless with two small children. The lady on the phone said” oh, we don’t talk to that department, it could be 5 min or 3 hours. Even after I explained the situation she just said “ nothing I can do”.

  Great customer service (sarcasm) It would be nice if more locations were available. Can’t even get to a Navy federal before closing because all the damn city traffic and there’s only two locations. People work until 5pm sheesh. An extra 30 minutes would help.

  Worst customer service around. They are a fairly decent bank, as long as you don't need your money in a timely fashion or have any problems what so ever. As soon as their customer service is involved, they really couldn't give less of a damn about you. I deposit checks weekly, and they say they have a 1 day hold on them, too bad it often takes up to 3-4 days to clear!

  I was denied membership because I am no longer affiliated with the military. I was surprised to find out that NFCU does not support honorably discharged combat veterans unless they fall into a certain time frame of 8 years after discharge, and there is no mention of this in the application. I do find comfort in knowing that even a house hold member of an existing member can join NFCU having never served the country in a time of war or peace. If it wasn't clear, that is complete satire. This institution prides themselves on serving those who serve, but once discharged they will tell you to piss off. But hey, at least that load sitting on your couch can reap the benefits you fight for.

  My sister went to open a account and the lady was rude. I hate when people judge people before they know what's going on. after I told that lady my daughter is in the navy her attitude changed. I think they NEED to open more navy federal credit unions maybe the problems with the wait and rude people will calm down. I do not live close to this location.

  Nice people, however, my experience has been a nightmare. I live far away from the nearest location and had to rely on transfers via phone or online. Several problems occurred and it was extremely difficult for me to get help from these guys to straighten them out even though they were the source of the issues.

  Part of the reason to have a credit union is to access your account anywhere nation wide. I was told I have to use the atm. Money markets and savings accounts don't have atm cards. The tellers need to be able to help me.

  Great bank and good customer service. Wait time varies depending on what day and time of the week you go. All things considered there right next to the Air Force base so there is always people there.

  Who ever said worst bank ever is a lie. I've been with NFCU for 2yrs now and I have no complaints. There really good and make it really convenient for both myself and husband...

  Although I been banking with them for years and a veteran it’s been disappointing to find out that although I make all my payments on time they have not wanted help and consolidate my debt on my own. Starting to Seems like they are not truly here for us and just money hungry like everyone else.
