  Terrible customer service, ZERO fraud protection. Navy Federal is the type of place that will only have one teller helping customers while fully staffed- there are plenty of people walking around "looking busy", but none of them busy helping customers. And if there is a problem with a debit card transaction (like a 7-11 ATM that malfunctions), you're basically on your own. They'll file the federally mandated dispute for you, but you have ZERO protection. Your loss is your loss, even if you're not at fault. Find a financial institution that protects you from fraud- NAVY FED isn't that institution.

  One of their better locations I've been to in the United States. All of the staff are very helpful & kind. Most are very knowledgeable about the products the offer. Only downside is, due to the popularity of the shopping center, it can be hard to find a parking spot on occasion.

  They're always helpful. If they're open. It's like they think members of the military can leave work early or have a long enough lunch break to come do what needs to be done. Half an hour longer would go a long way.

  Wow no lines and service was phenomenal. Walk in immediately greeted. When came time to conduct business, Staff was friendly knowledgeable and even when there was an issue the staff found a way to help me so I would be satisfied. Fast and efficient !!!!!

  Warning to Armed forces, if you are applying for a mortgage go to a bank. NFCU uses a 3rd party mortgage company that is extremely risk adverse. I switched to a bank and was approved days after I setup an account.

  Awesome. Went in on on a Saturday for a mortgage approval and was helped promptly. Kelcey was so helpful and took care to explain everything. Great experience.

  I love Navy Fed, I've been a member since 1965, financed a number of homes and their security is very good.

  Why they close 5 p.m., being the closest branch to Point Loma Base, is beyond me. Other branches close at 6 and they're much further away.
