  Working with Movement Mortgage has been nothing short of a living nightmare. When we first started working with Justin Atteberry, despite not having great communication from him, everything seemed to be going smoothly. After finding a new home and getting a preapproval letter, we decided to put our very first home of almost 8 years on the market. With having two toddlers, we felt that it was time to give them more space and also wanted more room to expand our family. We put our full trust in Justin but soon learned that was a big mistake. The day after selling our beloved home and day before closing on our new one, Justin ripped the floor from under us. If it wasn't him asking for last minute documents that he had "requested" from an employer weeks ago, (and finding out it was never requested) it was him lying to us and our realtor over and over again or just plain not doing his job. The builder that we were working with was gracious enough to extend our contract but Justin never got us to the finish line. Instead, he left our little family with nowhere to call home and felt no remorse in doing so. We lost what we thought was going to be our forever home, lost thousands and thousands of dollars in earnest money, lost sleep wondering where we were going to live and how we were going to stay positive for our kids. We ended up getting with another lending company and wanted nothing more than to get out from underneath a company that never had our best interest at heart. We requested a withdrawal on our loan application so that we could move forward, however when we received that document, we learned that not only was it filled out incorrectly but it was also submitted illegally. Confused about it, we reached out to Justin who assured us that "the underwriter probably chose a random reason so that they could 'kill the loan' quickly". Come to find out, we now had an MCR attached to our file that could potentially make it very hard for us to be accepted by another lender. Wanting to get this issue fixed, we asked Justin for his uppermanagemet contact information and that was like pulling teeth. Eventually, Justin's boss, Matt Konlande contacted us and was apologetic about what had transpired but ended up not helping in any way that would benefit our situation, nor was there anything done about the fact that his loan officer didn't do his job in a professional and timely manner. We are sharing our story to hopefully reach others and prevent them from going through the nightmare we are living in.

  Matthew Konlande is so helpful, friendly, trustworthy, knowledgeable, patient etc... He delivered excellent service! He patiently answered all my questions. This was extremely important to me since I’m a first home buyer. I highly recommend him especially if you’re a first home buyer.   I started the process and finished in 30 days. My loan officer stayed in constant contact with me. Although this is a busy time for buying a home, working with my loan officer was a breeze. He may not have responded as quickly as I’d liked, but he did respond in a timely fashion. No questions went unanswered. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone!!

  Movement Mortgage was a great team to work with, especially Matt. As a first time borrower, he was the only one who made the process easy. He was able to help us with any questions we had any time of the day. He was honest and gave us tips on what we needed to do to get where we wanted. I have already referred a couple people to him and would recommend him to anyone! Great team!

  Matt Konlande is great! He and his team helped me buy my first home. The entire process, from pre approval to closing, was less than a month. He's always available and responds fast. He even gave me great tips on managing my credit score. Highly recommend.

  Fay Darlene Pruitt says she has bought a lot of houses in her lifetime but this one was the easiest due to the hard work of Matthew and his staff. The title company told us that they had worked with Matthew's company and they were very easy to work with. We would recommend this company very highly. Thank you movement mortgage company.

  This is the best mortgage team I have ever experienced; Matthew Konlande and Tina McCranie and the Movement Mortgage Company are excellent at what they do! and I would recommend anyone who’s buying a home or refinancing to use this company, Matt was available anytime for questions or help and was extremely professional.   Using this company was a nightmare. It took 3 months to close. If I was trying to buy any other home I would have lost the contract. It actually seemed like that was the goal. * and then to make it worse you leave me off my own loan. How does that even happen?? Michael did nothing but lie and try to blame everything on covid. I hoped getting Matt envoled would have helped but it didn't do much apparently. No one in this branch knows what they are doing

  Excellent mortgage company. We contacted Michael after a referral from our realtor and I am SO glad we did. My wife and I are in our first home thanks to them. We were going through another mortgage company that was nothing but a hassle so we went ahead and contacted Movement Mortgage. From day one Michael explained everything and we got pre-approved within 24 hrs and then we got full approval within about 3/4 daysish. Every time my wife or I had a question, they answered in a timely manner, and we closed on a house and closed nearly on time, within 3 days of our original closing date...overall I'd DEFINITELY recommend this company. They didn't disappoint us and I doubt they'd disappoint anyone else.
