  This was an overall positive experience. Joe Moore originated our mortgage and went over many different options that we could pursue. He gave a detailed cost analysis for each. We felt very comfortable in making a decision based on the information he provided and knowing it was well thought out. They were even able to get me a lower rate for free when rates dropped in the middle of my transaction! I spoke many times with Jane Needham, who is on Joe's team. Jane would contact me for the day to day items that were necessary during the process. If I ever had a question or concern, Jane would always respond very quickly. She was very helpful, and always professional, personable and friendly. I didn't speak with anyone else on the team. However, given how the process was handled start to finish, I'm definitely happy with all of the service they provided and I'd be happy to recommend Joe, Jane and the team at Mountain West.

  Jane Needham and this team did an amazing job helping our mutual clients buy a home! They were so patient and awesome and my clients are very satisfied with the results. When I say that Jane went above and beyond it is a definite understatement. We would sometimes be on the phone brainstorming and coming up with new strategies at 9pm at night. Thank you Jane!   I'll admit I'm impatient. .. and I thrive on clear and quick communication. Joe's team exceeded my expectations, and Cal Path perks were the "icing on the cake"! Starting with our first conversation, Jane Needham always made me feel I was her only customer, although I know she is extremely busy now that rates are at a historical low. Every time I had a question or concern, she either had or got the answer quickly. You can trust Jane. She is an open and honest person. I felt like I had a close friend in the mortgage lending business. MWF's processor, Kathy Gullo was always professional and considerate any time I was unfamiliar with terms or a process. She was always responsive to any concern I had. MWF's escrow officer, Noy led the final closing and funding smoothly to complete all of the complex transactions involved in my loan. The Notary noted MWF's professionalism and the concise closing package! I know Joe is proud of the professional team he has assembled. He and his team have streamlined the lending process, and incorporated the technology necessary to drive it.   Gary Berry at Mountain West was with us every step of the way in purchasing our home and got us a great rate! Even the escrow officer said she was surprised at the low rate we got! I couldn't have asked for a better loan officer and his assistant, Debbie. For employees with STRS or PERS retirement, you even get more discounts with the CalPATH program. A couple months prior to calling Gary, we had been turned down by a broker who said he couldn't help us due to an old, but canceled, debt we had on our report. Gary was so helpful and encouraging, walking us through each and every step, and now we are proud and excited owners of our forever home!

  We purchased our home in 2016 and just completed a refinance. Both times we used Mountain West Financial and their CalPATH program. Joe Moore, Jane Needham and Kathy Gullo are nothing short of amazing! Together they make what seems like a long, scary and drawn-out process feel smooth and seamless (even through the holidays). Their customer service is absolutely stellar. They kept us informed through each step in the process and always made themselves available.
