  My husband and I where very pleased with Melissa C. She made our visit at the bank very smooth as my husband and I could only be there on both of our lunch breaks. She was fast, and quick to the point. We where very impressed with her knowledge and performance! Would definitely recommend seeing Melissa C!

  After going to 3 different branches we drove to the Waynesville branch from Hendersonville, NC. We had spoke to Melissa on the phone and when we arrived we were welcomed in with smiling faces. Melissa come out and greeted us with a smile and took us over to get the pre-approval for our car shopping. She was extremely knowledgeable and helped my husband and I understand exactly what we needed to do with the letter we were provided. When we mentioned that we would be in the market for a house next year she immediately said “come see me, we can take care of you” I can’t brag enough on the service we got throughout our interaction with this branch. For all your credit needs we would highly recommend Melissa at the Waynesville branch. Thank you Melissa! You made this experience great. Josh & Ashley Ogle

  I have been with Mountain Credit Union for over 30 years and I would never even consider banking anywhere else. It is the personal service that makes all the difference in the world!! They really do take your circumstances into consideration when you have financial needs. I feel like friends with everybody who works there! Yall are great!!

  We love our Mountain Credit Union of Waynesville. We have been a member for 14 years and counting. Friendly staff, quick responses, and have never had a problem.

  I love this credit union. Personally I think they have great service I've been banking there since moving here 6 years ago. They go above and beyond.

  I have a business account here. just found out they've been charging 25 a month because I haven't been keeping 1500 in my savings account at all times. It's just a gimmick to screw you out of $25 a month. I have another business account at Wells Fargo and they don't do this. The teller also acted like she didn't have any control over anything. Told me I need to talk to the branch manager to get it refunded and at Wells Fargo they can do it no problem. I'll be closing both my accounts at this bank and moving everything over to Wells Fargo, I've got enough on my plate without having problems from a bank to deal with. On the bright side this bank is easy to get loans from. But I don't care for getting shafted out of money.

  They won’t open their lobby with grocery stores and Lowe’s and Walmart being opened. Prepare to spend a lot of wasted time and gas sitting in double car line that wraps around 3 sides of the building. Also, I’ve never heard of a bank that doesn’t have deposit tickets or any paperwork so you can have your stuff prepared ahead of time. The tellers rush you through. All of your transactions from every account are on one little slip of paper like a grocery receipt that fades away. Talk about a bookkeeping nightmare. I am presently looking for a new bank. Ridiculous that you cannot go in and bank when hundreds of stores and malls are open all over the place. If people are too scared to do their job, they need to be replaced with someone who isn’t scared and WILL do their job! I personally don’t like handling all over that tube to send it back and forth that everyone has touched. I would much rather use a wet wipe and walk in the door.

  Had to keep my receipts always on my loan payments. Several times it showed I hadn’t made a payment. Luckily I kept everything. Always hard to get someone to answer the phone. I’d get there at 2pm 3pm several times and never got to talk to anyone about a car loan, however one time I did around 2pm get to talk to a lady but she was upfront and said she was leaving early and I’d need to come back later. All the tellers were very nice but that’s about it. Ended up just making my last card payment and never went back. Not really worth the hassles when there are other banks and credit unions that do just as good.

  This has been a great bank anytime I have had any issues someone has always helped me sort them out. If you are a member here and want help getting your finances back on track and raising your credit score Fadrian is helpful with this. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

  Excellent service and great to deal with whether its a personal loan or a vehicle loan. Would give 10 stars if possible! Love the new online banking app! Very cool you can chat with member reps online and on my phone!
