Hanna Rae2Poor rating due to poor customer service. I keep a savings account with MACU & I have another bank that I use for more regular banking needs. A few months back, a MACU teller (I’ve only visited this specific branch) sent me to my regular bank because they swore that is where I filled out my ACH form. I was trying to increase my monthly savings deposit, & they said I had to go to my other bank to do so. I knew that I filled the paperwork at MACU, but I did not want to sound pompous, so I drove to my other bank anyway. The other bank had no record of an ACH....which I knew, but I wanted to be absolutely certain so I wouldn’t be turned away again. So, I return to MACU. I meet with a different teller that informed me the reason they were unable to increase my savings deposit right then was because the deposit was already en route. Makes sense, wish I was told that the first time. The teller said they would send an email (I don’t know to whom) to ensure that my next deposit would be increased. I was very kind & patient, especially considering that an hour of my time was wasted after my 9-5 day. Stuff happens, I get it. Weeks later, I check my savings & realize that my deposit was not increased as promised. Ouch. All that for nothing. The cherry on top was the last incident where I sat in drive thru for at least 5 mins as I watched a teller at the front desk scroll through their phone. Not the biggest deal, but it stung a lot considering my previous experiences. I definitely have learned to not go to the bank after a long work day. LOL The people there are great, the energy is there. I have had my MACU account there for less than a year & have seen many employees however. There seems to be a high turnover rate, so I’m not surprised that there’s people there that don’t know what they’re doing. That’s usually more of a management thing, so I have a hard time feeling frustrated with the tellers. I wish nothing but the best for them, but I will personally be taking my monies elsewhere.

Mathew Rowley5My wife and I just switched over to this bank and we are already so much happier with MACU than our previous bank! They are so personal! Our personal banker, Dallin, just called to wish us a merry Christmas! The actual banking is all very simple and smooth too. I'm so glad we moved to this bank

Cameo Lindgren5can i do a 12/10 review??? This branch is always so KIND, so HELPFUL, so AWESOME! I am new to banking and all of the financial obligations that come with it. I'm a college student and learning the ropes. They have encouraged me and offered unique solutions suggestions specific to me and my lifestyle. I love love love them! Dallin especially has always offered top tier customer service. Thanks guys! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Carl Paltrineri5I went there this past Saturday and had Ali Carver help me open a new credit card account and she not only was a complete professional assisting me but her sweet attitude and pleasant personality was nothing short of awesome!. I will always want to recommend her to my friends and family and will not hesitate to come back to that branch just to have her help me!. Lynn Craven3I only had to wait about 3-5 minutes to be called to open a new account 11/30/18. Grace was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She did forget to print up some being checks for me and had to go back. For that day I give 4 stars.Three weeks ago at the inside teller window I did have to stay in line for 15 minutes and I was first in line..not enough people to help inside customers. This was not a good experience. that day gets two stars....that is why I gave 3 stars total.

Kelton Jacobsen1This review isn't about this particular branch, but about the bank in general. I am obsessive when it comes to tracking my expenses. I know how much I have, when I have it, and if I don't have it I make sure I transfer it. I do the same thing for my wife to help her out. But over the past 3 months, my wife and I have paid over $250 in overdraft fees because our transfers from savings to checking don't go through. And sure enough when I go and look, there are no transfers recorded on my statement, so I have no evidence except my word. There is no forgiveness, no notifications that we don't have the money in our checking accounts, nothing. Instead, as college students, we are forced to pay $250 we don't have. My wife cancelled her accounts (and they charged her $5... really?) and I will be in shortly to cancel mine. I've never had this problem with any other bank.

Richard Frye4The people are always great.I just opened a new account and I only have one gripe -that there is a 3 month check holding policy on all new accounts-I think that is excessive! It should only be 1 month ,it makes it harder to set things up such as bill pay etc.So in the 3 month time I will continue to use my other account instead and way the pros and cons of opening this account.
