  Advised me that a savings bound could not be cashed as of 2022. I contacted another branch and it was taken care of. Also put a loan payment to the wrong the loan.

  Today is March 5 of 2022. I have not had one bad experience with this bank until today I pulled up at 2 o’clock actually it was 1:59 so that I could grab a debit card because there was fraud on my account so I needed to replace it. When I got to the door which I was right behind a gentleman that went in the door. I pulled on the door and it was locked a woman came to the door to let another client out and I asked her may I please come in and get a debit card. It was imperative that I had it this weekend because I was going out of town for my birthday . The woman that was at the door stated to me we close at 2:00 I said it’s 2 o’clock I needed to grab a debit card. Her reply was oh we can’t do that it will take 7 minutes and we’re closed. I was in shock I sat outside for another 10 minutes and there were still people walking outside from inside.All the people that I have dealt with at this place has been nothing but nice but they have had a major turnover in employees I wish they get the old ones back !   I have been banking with Mountain America for at least 35 years. I have been with other banks and Mountain America is far above the others with what they offer their customers. From basic checking and savings to mortgages and car loans. Whenever I had questions or concerns they always took care of me. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Their service is A+.

  Working with Gerrick I couldn't be happier! He was very proffesional made me feel like I had made the best decision in where I wanted to make my credit union. He really explained and educated about every step and what to expect! If you need help with opening accounts or loan applications visit Gerrick at the Cotttonwood Heights location! You won't regret it promise!

  I completely agree with the other great reviews for MACU, and especially for this branch! Monique assisted with opening my account only just a month ago, and the level of customer service/care she provided has been above and beyond my expectations or anything that I've received at any other financial institution. She informed me of my car loan options and offered a great rate to transfer my card balances. I opted to do both and I could not be more happier in doing so! I am very satisfied with my experience here so far:)

  I love going to this branch! Very convenient location for me as I work in the area. I started going in to use my other bank but I switched to MACU because of the amazing service that Garrick always provided whenever I would go in. He is very kind, no pressure and very knowledgeable! 5+ stars!

  I've dealt with several MACU branches, online and phone support and every time am left impressed with their speed and helpfulness. In particular Tara at Cottonwood Heights is a real asset.

  Awesome branch, with super friendly and helpful staff. I needed to put together a fairly complicated and time consuming loan with an out of state individual, and Garrett was amazing. We executed everything seamlessly and I couldn't be happier. 5- Stars

  I have received a higher level of customer service from this place in the last 5 days (since I opened my account) than I received in a full decade of loyal patronage at Wells Fargo. Angela helped us open our account last Saturday at the Fort Union Branch, and after looking into the Visa rewards card for us, offered us a personal loan for credit card debt consolidation. Offered. Wells Fargo wouldn't even give me a debt consolidation loan when I ASKED, even when my credit was fantastic. I didn't even think about asking for any kind of loan when we opened our savings & checking accounts at MACU; we were just trying to escape the awful terms on our s&c accounts at Wells Fargo. Now we get free checking and savings, and fantastic customer service! I am over the moon. Thank you MACU, and Angela G. for going above and beyond our expectations!

  Really great location if you live in Cottonwood Heights but I’m afraid this branch doesn’t know what they are doing. I had to change my account number due to a stolen check book and my account is still messed up. “You are all set, here is your new account” but then my employer and 2 monthly withdrawals couldn’t find the account. That’s because they didn’t fix the issue. Oh and I have to go into the branch again to fix it (plus 3 calls to their service center). Thank you for making a bad situation even worse.
