  There are not enough words (or space) to describe how great of a realtor Tom Nicklow at Minnetonka Realty is. He was incredibly patient with us as first time home buyers and he gave us an invaluable eduction. We learned something new everytime we went out looking for homes with him. Tom is the definition of a professional. He’s fantastic at what he does and he bring a great attitude and energy with him. While you’re stressed out, Tom calms you down with his cool, even temper and great sense of humor. You will not find anyone better!

  Tom Nicklow was our realtor and he went above and beyond in his search for a property that we'd call home. Ultimately, we are more than happy with how the process turned out and how much Tom paid attention to the details. He understood our desires when it came to location and features but he didn't let that limit him in his search for properties that he felt we'd be happy with.

  Tom went beyond every expectation we held for a realtor. We can't imagine anyone better to help you buy or sell your home than Tom. Tom's knowledge of home construction is invaluable in this market because you have to make informed decisions, quickly. Tom was a great resource for all our questions about home ownership and the the home buying process. He gave us several different recommendations for lenders, home inspectors, and contractors and really helped us to select the right home buying team. His network in the industry is far reaching, and that made the whole process extremely easy. In this competitive market we were lucky to have Tom on our side.   Short version – Look no further in your search for your real estate expert - Tom Nicklow is great. He is knowledgeable, patient, creative, competitive in the market and has a great sense of humor. He helped us buy our first home during the pandemic and we will 100% work with him again in the future! Long version – Tom Nicklow is an expert and has a ton of experience in real estate. He knows the housing market and was able to let us know when houses would be coming on the market before they were listed due to his experience and connections. He was also very familiar with all the other agents, inspectors, and services needed in our area. He was able to answer all our questions – his knowledge in construction helped us know which homes were a good deal or had potential and what would or would not be possible to change. As first time homebuyers I think we probably asked a lot of “dumb” questions but he never once made us feel dumb. He supported us through every step from understanding how the whole process works, to looking at neighborhoods, visiting houses, and guiding us through the entire inspection and closing process. He is so good that when we anxiously wanted to offer way more than asking for our home, he convinced us to offer less, and he was right! Tom is a super reasonable person, and we recommend him and his business without reservation.

  We highly recommend working with Tom of Minnetonka Realty as a first time home buyer!! We started out with MANY questions about real estate and the process of buying a home. We can't thank him enough for his "team" approach in making sure we understood every step, being honest and hands on during showings, and sharing his expertise that comes from years in the field both professionally and in his personal life building homes. We were impressed with how quick he was to respond to emails/calls, set up showings, and help us put an offer together in rapid speed to be competitive in the current fast-paced market.   A coworker recently asked me “on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the highest, how would you rate your realtor?” I told him 50. We were absolutely blown away by Tom and how hard he worked to ensure we bought the perfect home for us. His experience in realty topped with his background in construction and care for his clients are what separate him from other realtors. In other words, he helped us filter out what we didn't want to get exactly what we did...AND at a great price in a very competitive market. He really went above and beyond our expectations on every front and was such a pleasure to work with. By the end of our time with Tom, he felt like family. Thank you, Tom!   I am very satisfied with my experience with Tom Nicklow and Minnetonka Realty. I had a short time frame to find a house in a really hot market and Tom made the extra effort to get me into exactly what I needed for my family. At one point he showed me almost 10 homes in one day! His knowledge of real estate paired with his directness makes him a pleasure to do business with. Not only would I seek him out again if I ever moved, but I would recommend him to friends and family.

  Tom was great to work with. He was very quick and eager to answer questions and help through the whole process. He also has a good network of other professionals in the industry to tap into. He has a pretty laid back personality that is comfortable to work with, but will still go to bat for you in negotiations. Overall was a good experience and I feel like he went above and beyond what the average agent would.

  Tom was a very driven individual that was on top of the market allowing us to get an offer in the first day a house was listed. This was needed due the fact the market in this area many houses were selling the first week of listing. Throughout the process Tom was always available for meetings or by phone to answer any questions. His expertise also led to us getting some items fixed on the house and ultimately a lower price on the house. I highly recommend Tom for anyone in the area.
