  I have worked with Mike Buynak at Union Capital Mortgage for the past several years. Mike makes the process of getting a home loan (and refinancing) very smooth and easy. Mike has also been great about reaching out as the markets change and there may be an opportunity to save money by refinancing.   We had relocated from out of state and were living in an apartment. We had been looking online at homes on the market but were not seeing any we liked. We had planned to get pre-qualified and work with a realtor. Just before we could arrange that situation we found a house online that we thought could be perfect. A student of my husband gave us the name of a realtor who then connected us to Mike at Union Capital. He had us pre-qualified within an hour! We viewed the property, made an offer and are now living in the house and neighborhood that best fit our needs.   Mike and his team did a wonderful job of making the home purchase financing process as easy and as transparent as possible. I was especially pleased with how Mike was willing to take my phone calls directly and speak plainly about the market. Nothing ever felt rushed and Mike was able to work around my busy schedule for both in-person and telephone appointments. Purchasing a home is a time consuming and difficult task. Mike makes the money side of it easy. I unequivocally recommend Mike and Union Capital Mortgage for anyone that is looking for financing on a home purchase.

  Mike did a great job of helping my wife and I obtain a mortgage on our first home. His services were fast - we had to close more quickly than usual do to an upcoming trip - efficient, and came at a lower overhead cost than competitors in the Hudson Area. He also seemed to know the local real estate market very well. I would highly recommend working with Mike, and so far have had a great time working with Union Capital.

  Mike took the time to meet with us on a Saturday because of our work schedules. We were both first-time home buyers, and he spent about an hour going through all of the details of the process with us. He reviewed all the documentation with us so that we would understand what we were agreeing to, etc. He was diligent in getting required materials, knowledgeable about mortgage products available to us and flexible to fit our schedules as needed. Mike was honest with us about our mortgage options and didn't make us feel pressured into anything. We would recommend him to future buyers.
