Whenever I would go to the bank there was always a joyous atmosphere. They treat you like family and immediately addressed any concerns I had. They always went above and beyond for us. Jehan Ansar5A VERY BIG THANK YOU!!! to both Debra & John who helped me get a vehicle loan on a great low APR rate. I'm a current member with the bank next door to them (HVFCU) but I was denied a vehicle loan because of low credit history (even though my score was good). I waited about 1-2 months and sat with a HVFCU representative about my denial and if I should re-apply for the loan, they did not recommend to proceed with the application as it may get rejected again. So I stepped outside and looked to my right... glanced at the MHVFCU and I thought I'll take my chances with this credit union I haven't heard of before. I walked into a very nice, modern, high tech & elegant main lobby and was greeted by friendly smiles. I did not have to wait, and was immediately being assisted by Jonathan who helped me fill & submit my application and mentioned he would get back to me later the same day (which I thought would never happen). The most shocking thing to me is when he called and said that my loan was approved! A few days later I found my dream car and went over to MHVFCU to finalize my loan. I was also in a hurry to get things done but I sat with Debra who professionally went over every detail and made sure I sent her all necessary documents. Then within a matter of minutes, I managed to get a check for the car payment. Debra was amazing, she helped me get what I needed, quick! I'm so glad I walked over to MHVFCU that day. The place is not overly crowded and there’s always someone to help and pay special attention to you. Please keep up the great work and high standards.

Gary 'MoneyG ' Anderson1i am going to change banks as soon as possible. I have had this bank for a few years now but it keeps getting worse and worse. someone new must have aquired it. every few months my credit card gets locked when i do same purchases all the time and its embarrassing. I get overdrafted all the time when things dont even come out for a few days. No bank has ever done the stuff they do. getting a loan was easy at first and now i paid off 2 loans over a year in advance and now they dont want to give me another one. I also was treated very rudely on the phone just now when i called. for what kind of customer i have been to be treated like that is the final straw with me. im going to look into other credit unions and get out of this once and for all. very diapppointed. ill get my wife and family to move as well.

blvccpercs baby5I've ad this ban for nearly two years now. it is a phenomenal bank, so many great opportunities however the Newburgh location currently offer the worst customer service , it's actually frustrating and will make you want to select different banking experience. Please do not visit this branch it will ruin the great banking experience that this credit union offers

Lizah Escobar1My first bank and one that I swore by but after telling my own father to join, I had to leave as well as have his account closed. They opted him into overdraft protection and charged him $175 in fees for simple gas station purchases. This man is 62 and cannot work because he's beaten his body into the ground his whole life doing everything from installing ac and washer machines to working on cars. A truck broke his back at 18 and still he worked until he couldn't anymore. He only receives $800 each month from ssi and here his own bank robbed him. They told us he has to opt out of overdraft protection in writing. Bank of America has just told me you have to opt in, meaning it's automatically not going to charge these ridiculous fees and instead just decline the card. Part of this is his fault but the man doesn't understand it takes a few days for transactions to go through and I feel they take advantage of that. Hope they're happy with their $175 =/

Siddie Morrison5Phoned for help obtaining copies of cleared checks, because I could not find anywhere on MHV site advising me if I could & if I could how do to do it. Within minutes, I now know how to get check copies. Very professional, charming & oh so helpful. Great job.
