  Mid Florida Financing are the vehicle financing equivalent to the old check cashing scam artists of the 1990's. The dealership they are associated with sale cars that are like being in Vegas, you're gambling if you'll actually get one that works. My story is simple, due to a divorce that destroyed my credit, I had no choice but to go through an organization like this at that time. I went to the dealership and bought a 2012 Hyundai Elantra. A few months into the vehicle I had to have new tires put on and the tire shop told me they spotted an issue with the steering and alignment of the vehicle. I thought they were just trying to up-sale me so I took it to another garage to get a second opinion. They in turn told me the same information AND that the issue as showed a clear problem that had been around for quite a while, well before I would have purchased that vehicle. The issue was so problematic that the car was a hazard to drive. I took my chances and drove the car to the dealership and they had THEIR mechanic take a look at the same issue. THEIR mechanic said the exact same things the other two shops had said. They and myself brought this to the attention of the dealership who stated they were not going t pay for the repair, even though it was an issue prior to my purchasing the vehicle. We were NEVER behind or missed a payment and yet decided to take the credit hit and return the vehicle to them. The issue was so bad we voluntarily turned it in, knowing the hit our credit we were trying to rebuild would take. They took possession of the vehicle and sold the vehicle and yet still are reporting on my credit that I'm not making a payment. They offered a service to a auto dealership which sold a defective product and was not willing to make it right. Then are continually screwing the consumer by reporting a negative report to the credit agencies. I understand being in the position where there are limited choices for getting a vehicle, I just would never go to a dealership who uses this organization.

  I truly don't recommend this finance company to anyone. None of the reps every get the amount you're due correct. Some extra is always coming up. I've paid my car payment on time till end of 2021 because I have been I'll off and on. Today I call for payment that wasn't taken out and Christian told me that he has to take my remaining payment of 10.39 after I told him I had to borrow the 11.00 to cover rest of my payment. He then process my card for 16.34 cents. I wish I could give them zero. Horrible horrible customer service. No money was ever credit back to me. Lies

  I am dumbfounded on all of the negative nancy comments. Do some research when purchasing a used car. Pay your car payment on time and you will have no issues. My car insurance had expired on Jan 29th of this year- I had paid to re-instate my insurance prior to expiry date and failed to update Mid Florida Financing, and they actually called me to make sure I updated my insurance information!! Every single last transaction I have had with customer service has been nothing but positive experiences. If you cannot pay your bill ontime, then maybe you shouldn't have such a responsibility of financing a car.

  I had my car for over a year and I've made every payment on time then in February of 2022 they stopped reporting to my credit I've called relentlessly to find out why? and all I get is the runaround! This is 4 months and ridiculous! If I don't pay they would set my credit on fire and dance around it! I do my part all I'm asking is that you do yours! I make my payments you report it's a very simple thing!

  Under warranty, kept car over 6 weeks to fix. No loaner, still made payments, had to borrow and rental to get back and forth to work. Told different things every time you call. Nobody knows anything. Not willing to work with you on one payment when car was with them for 4 payments

  I DONT NOT RECOMMEND OKCARZ OR MIDFL FINANCE. God awful communication. Have no plan in place for natural disasters like hurricanes or when Covid first had everyone quarantined and losing their jobs. You ask them to push back your next payment back a few days and half the time they don’t. All these 5 star reviews are garbage because I’ve used this company for several years now and have still dealt with the same unbelievably terrible communication. I’m finally writing this review cause I’m fed up with the inconsistency and unprofessionalism. I’ve always been in good standings and we’ll be ecstatic when I’m done paying off my vehicle through this company.

  I am a first time car buyer. Purchase a new car and Not even a week in with the car and I haven’t even made my first payment and I’m so fully disappointed at myself and the bank for not trying to work with me. I bought a used car with OKCARZ. PLEASE DONT BUY A CAR WITH THEM. These guys will have you think you are in their best interest when it’s the total opposite. I test drove it. Everything seemed good and working. Before leaving the Lot, I noticed there were quite a few issues with the car. My seller told me to contact warranty. I’ve contacted warranty the past few days and they really didn’t seem like they want to work with you.I just felt so uncomfortable with the car to the point of even returning. Contacted the bank and they said they really can’t have me switch to something better even if it was me putting more down towards a new one. Unfortunately they said I could is voluntarily repo the car but I’m still responsible for the loan or the other option was to surrender the car within 24 hours which is ridiculous. They didn’t even bother with going with other remedial options. I can’t believe How DOOPED I AM. These guys are so quick with selling something without being patient and fully going through the contact throughly. I should’ve read these reviews before even falling for the trap. As long as you pay them that’s all that counts. So disappointed. Be careful with these guys.

  This is a terrible finance place their linked with ok carz and if this review is took down I will keep putting up they charged me 5000$ more then what my car was worth and refused to offer gap insurance at purchase along with selling me a car with bad breaks faulty air bag system insurance reporter on the phone was extremely rude and for this reason I’m opening up a case

  My card declined (switched banks) and I forgot. So they called me for payment in which I had cash at the time due to no card. I was told to make payment at Amscot with my account number in which they said they’d send me an email with my account info to do so. I never received the email. Checked spam folder as well. I called them back to try and see what happened…I was transferred plenty of times and then sent to a “full vm box” I dialed a different department today in which I was able to leave a vm and still no response. I do admit I did miss their call from the morning time due to working but I called back 4 times after. I would really just want to get this paid please for credit reasons! EDIT: WOW!! After this review, I walked outside and my car is gone! They called me around 8am “to return my call” IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT THEY SENT IT TO THE WRONG EMAIL BY ADDING AN EXTRA LETTER TO MY NAME!!! I confirmed the email with her about two weeks prior because they had it incorrect previously! They told me I’d have to pay the recovery fee and they are no longer doing a loan with me. That’s insane! I will have my lawyer review these phone calls and company!!! How is it my fault that the rep typed “Jallissa” and not “Jalissa” like I told her!!!!! I know how to spell my name. I told them I admit I did receive a missed a call from this yesterday at 10am while at work but called them SIX times (2 additional calls from previous review) after to get this account info for amscot that they said they’ll send and which I never received because the rep typed two L’s in my name.

  My husband recently got a car from Ok cars and was told he’ll be contacted before the paper tag expires. Needless to say someone from Mid Florida called him 4 minutes to 5 pm and placed him on hold and then disconnected the line exactly at 5pm. We called back several times and no answer. Comes to find out my husband’s tag expires 4/10 at Midnight on a Sunday. Guess what?? They’re freaking closed and the car lot will not write him another tag.
