  Horrible institution. They decline debit card transactions even when the customer has sufficient funds. Additionally, they made me explain why I needed a certified check on a different transaction. I waited 30 minutes for a manager’s approval. Not allowing customers access to their money is criminal.

  If you want to draw out large increments or deposit large increments you will be disappointed. Bank manager declined processing a check that was endorsed by a person that was with me. This is the SAME manager who others are complaining about (see other reviews). If you need any business banking for B2B, B2G or B2C look elsewhere. The have a handful of locations but nothing worth driving to. BANK ELSEWHERE OR YOU WILL BE HINDERED.

  Angela King is the best Loan Officer at this Credit Union. She is very helpful and spends time to explain loans in details with us. We have consume loan and Auto Loan with this Credit Union. It is amazing. I highly recommend you all to come to see Angela and do business with this Credit Union. This is the best Credit Union in this Macomb and Oakland Country.

  Dam good credit union. Me and both of my boys have built our credit here and the employees who work there treat you like you matter. I literally went from having bad credit to being able to get a secured credit card to help me get to a titanium card and a high credit limit to go with an over 800 credit score. Not many banks and credit unions offer you that kind of personal financial help. I’ve probably recommended them 100 times to friends, family and others.

  After reading reviews and the website I thought this would be a good place to open an account. I arrived, there were very few people waiting and the computer said there was only one customer ahead of me. 45 minutes later I had never been greeted, never assisted, and there was now two people behind me. One of the other folks waiting apprached the counter to ask what the wait was about, and she informed them I was waiting to open an account. She was told I can do it on the internet. Sorry, but I enjoy customer service, if which this back had none today. One gentleman spent the entire time on the phone. No one even took moment to even reassure any of us waiting. I'll either go back tomorrow, or more then likely, find a bank that treats customers well.

  Drive thru wait time is ridiculous EVERY time I go there. A person greets you and then disappears to wait on the inside customers. Have waited my entire lunch hour sitting at the window just to make a quick deposit. Also, they put over a two week hold on a check I received. The issuer of the check confirmed that it had gone through on their end. They still didn't release the funds to me. Two week wait for my money????

  Not very friendly and my son wanted to open a account and he could not until he attended one of their classes. He's 17 and has held his own checking account elsewhere since age 15, when he started working. Oh well, we went elsewhere and had the very best customer service. He opened an account, made a deposit and it all set. Their loss.

  I love my credit union no matter which office I go to there are very pleasant and helpful people I've been with this credit Union since 1998

  Just left Bank of America across the street after closing two accounts with them. Walked into MSGCU and the difference was very clear. Immediately greated by a smiling face and people who wanted to help. Opened my new checking with them, and I will never be dealing with big banks again.
