  Unprofessional and incompetent. After using this guy for quite a few years, I had requested some help filing a tax return for a trust of which I am the trustee. Apparently Mr. Kimmey couldn't or wouldn't advise me on the correct procedure even though I submitted all the necessary paperwork to complete the form. I was totally willing to pay for the service. Rather than advise me he responded by email accusing me of not knowing "what the hell" I was doing and then putting me off for three months. Finally I had enough and told him if he didn't want my business to just say so. His reply was "probably, we don't like to get involved in our clients messes? Huh? Well Mr. Kimmey, you are fired for unprofessional conduct and incompetency.

  Sometimes I wonder if I did not get the right advice at the right time, things would be so different for my family. I have worked for and enjoyed more than twenty six years at very successful major airline. The financial guidance and tax preparation services provided by Mike Kimmey and his staff is pure customer service at its finest.   We have been using Mike Kimmey & Associates to file our taxes for many years now and couldn't be more pleased. Mike is very personable , conscientious, and most of all , accurate . Mike Kimmey & Associates is not a " tax a season only " business where one is not certain of the qualifications of the preparer. Whenever we have a question or concern , we always receive an immediate response. His service fees are also reasonable . ..... always a good thing !

  Michael and his staff are wonderful! He came highly highly highly recommended to me from a friend and my husband met him and was quite impressed. Michael far exceeded our all ready high expectations. He is personable, thorough, and detailed. He took time to explain the intricacies of the tax process and answered all questions in great detail.   Michael was referred to us by my wife's family and we have been using his accounting services for the last 4-5 years. His location is a bit far to us, but his service and ease of his operation are well worth it!   Michael Kimmey is one of a kind. He is patient, a good listener, flexible, and personable. He will work with you with prices. I admire his willingness to genuinely want to help his clients succeed. He is also very knowledgeable of what he do. He gives you examples and scenarios of real life business situations and help you maneuver through them. I love that his company is full service. Monthly financial statements, tax returns, and payroll is just to name a few. It’s hard to find great accountants out there, to not only want to be of service for your business, but to want to help you succeed as well. He is an amazing person, and a great accountant.
