  I had multiple horrible experiences with Huntington employees messing up which made me go out of my way multiple times which was super frustrating. I was on the brink of closing down my account until I spoke with Manal. She was helpful,professional, and kind. I changed my mind because of Manal's great customer service. She was able to swiftly resolve the issue. The issue: Huntington employees consistently taking down the wrong information which made me have to stop by the bank to change the info in person due to security reasons. I clearly gave them the correct information every time but the employees kept messing up. One example: one employee put my social security number as my phone number. I couldn't use online banking or the app because of it.

  Worst customer service worst bank I can’t believe that they control my money because they have a problem with them System that’s not my problem!!! Fix ur system I had to pay fees because I couldn’t pay my bill from this stupid bank I called this location they didn’t help me and I called customer service they don’t even answer

  Huntington is a bad bank to deal with. This bank needs to leave illinois. The people at huntington are rude and have no answers for questions asked. Very very poorly run bank. I wouldnt trust your money with these people.

  I hate this bank far to many problems. I was a customer of TCF ba k and its predecessor for decades. Never had a problem with them. I need to check out my options at other banks..

  Horrible customer service. I was depositing a business check into a business account and it took 10 minutes after they received the check to deposit the check. One teller called over another teller and she is there is red flag to due to a phone number on the account. I deposit to other branches with no problem. Then she asking in questions about where I work and how I need to contact someone about updating the phone number. That was all B.S. because the bank don't know who phone numbers are current unless they have a reason to reach the customer, which I know that the bank did not research phone numbers in the past few days from my last deposit. Don't bank at this branch, choose another location or bank to do business.

  On 9/23/20 opened a 25 Huntington Check Account. Went through all paperwork, set up mobile banking. Did a test deposit, made a deposit of two checks totaling $12,500.00. The next day tried to open app for mobile banking, user name and password not working. After returning to branch, calling Huntington, calling my banks where checks were written from to see if they cleared (confirmed they did clear) call back to Huntington, they say in the "Hold Department" I don't have an account, they did not approve of opening this check account. Where are my checks or my money? Total Horror Story. Run from this regional obsolete bank based in Ohio. Never will do business with this bank. I reported this incident to AG office of Illinois.

  I applied at the Orland Park location for a Home Equity Loan. I was denied for the loan. I reviewed the application the bank took and found many errors on the application regarding my debts. I contacted the branch manager Sebastian Gierasinski, told him my concerns and wanted to update or correct the wrong info on my application. He Stated he would call back the next day. That never happened. I then emailed him 3 days later to see when could he get back to me. He emailed me back and said "I will call you tomorrow" he never did. I had to call the branch to find out come someone please call me so I can update my info. If you're looking for a home equity or any loan I would not recommend doing business with Huntington Bank especially the Orland Park location. I have been in the Mortgage business for 30 years and went to them because I don't do home equity loans. The service by the Branch Manager was very poor.

  I went into the Orland Park location today with my payroll check from my job. I do not have an account with this bank but I was considering opening up one since my job's payroll checks are through this bank. First I did not like the fact that they charge $10 dollars to cash a check if you dont have an account with them, other banks charge $5 dollars. I agreed to proceed with the transaction. The banker examined the check and proceeded to look through her computer system to verify it. The teller could not find what ever she was looking for. She turned to another teller by the name of feathrine to ask for her assistance. The teller said she needed to verify it with the bank manager and I might add that I needed to show two pieces of Identification. Never ever had to show two pieces of ID to cash a check. While the one teller was getting the check verified from the bank manager the other teller proceeded to tell me that the check looked funny and that my job must be printing there own checks now and that the positioning of some of the words on the check was not centered how they are suppose to be. She continued talking saying there is a lot of fraud going on and this and that. The other teller comes back from the bank manager with the approval for the check, the teller than ask me what do I do at this job what is my position and do I like the company. First of all it is none of your d@#$ business what my position is at this company. The teller featherine cashed the check finally and I told her I will make sure that my job knows about the hassle that I had trying to cash my own d$%# check. She said oh no its just that you are not a customer and we are not familiar with you. She tried to tell me well at all banks it is like that. I told her no it is not. I have an account with chase and Bank of America and I have never been treated like Im some common criminal, even before I opened my account with BofA and I would go and cash checks from my other job I only had to show one piece of ID and I have never been treated this way not ever!!!! Might I add the check was only for $500.00 dollars.. Like really Im going to go through all this trouble of committing a federal crime for $500 dollars I know there are crazy criminals that may do that but I am not one of them. I will never ever step foot in there place of business and I recommend that no one ever does. I made it a point to inform my Administrator of the type of service I received here at this branch. I do not appreciate being looked at as a criminal I am really appauald and I will make sure to let everyone I know about my experience with this bank......

  I am a customer for 20 years they have very good customer service and experience. When i bought the new house i still kept the same bank just because of there good employees they have Manal and Fatherin ,they treated me like a family member. I will recommend any one i know to open accounts with them.

  Do not use this bank. They will not cash their own bank checks for over $1000 if you do not have an account there. I have Chase and that is where i will stay. They would not cash a $5000 check that had their name on it. Lousy bank, avoid it at all costs.
