  I usually don’t take the time to write a review for anyone. In this case I am pleased to do so. I was recommended to Michael Hatzidakis from a co worker of mine. From our first conversation I felt I was in good hands. He sat with me 2 days after our first initial phone conversation and walked me through the entire process of purchasing my second home for my family and I. He was communicative and knowledgeable, he gave me weekly/daily updates when needed and his staff and assistant are remarkable. Not only did he communicate with my self and my wife he also was in constant communication with my realtor and my attorney making sure everyone was on the same page. In this competitive market, he was able to lock down my offer over an all cash offer after he spoke with the selling participants. I will recommend him to everyone. I just want to say thank you Michael and Cross country mortgage for your guidance and impeccable customer service. You are the best in the business!!!

  Michael Hatzidakis was a great help and success in the process of switching my mortgage over to Cross Country Mortgage, LLC. He and his associates, not only worked with me to help me get my documents that they needed, but also managed to get everything through in a timely manner. They were able to help me get a better deal and save money, than what I had been paying for years. If you are thinking about making some changes, Cross Country Mortgage and Michael Hatzidakis are the place to start, with a guarantee they will get you to where you want to be.

  Not the best experience. Michael flip flopped on his words many times during the process. He and his team has very bad communication skills. At the crucial time when interest rates were going up and down every minute they would not reply to messages, emails or class. I had to hound them to get responses. By the time I could get them to lock in a mortgage rate it went from 4.5% to 5.5%. Which was all on them and their response rate. On top of that when it time for closing Michael added on a bunch of other fees. I don’t recommend anyone to go to Michael or cross country mortgage and get taken like I did. He is very nice and attentive at first to lure you in so don’t get caught by his manipulation.

  Jalilur, I am taken back by this review, and have tried to reach out to you to see what changed since we last spoke and what merited this negative review. Our last conversation was a thankful one, where you had said you would even refer your friends and family to me. Unfortunately, in a rising interest rate environment, we had no choice but to increase the rate. We had discussed this together multiple times. As soon as those changes were made it was disclosed and discussed with you (anytime fees or rates increase, it must be disclosed to you within 3 days and must be signed by the client in order to move forward with the loan). Rates continued to increase even after your rate was locked so in hindsight we did the right thing. Even though rates are something I cannot control, .5% of your closing costs were lowered to ease the burden you felt. Your closing costs were less than what was originally disclosed, saying a bunch of fees were added is simply not true. There was only one fee that increased throughout the transaction and that was due to your property taxes being picked up. Again, something I have no control over. Being in this industry for 20 years, there has never been a bad review on my record. I take great pride in my work and have always been complimented on going above and beyond my clients expectations. I m confused why you decided now, two months after your loan closed to write this review. I will continue to put all my efforts into giving my clients the best possible financing options available to them. In closing, I implore you to please contact me on either my cell phone, office phone or via email.  We always communicated freely throughout this transaction and because I cannot reach you to discuss this (and because of the length of time after closing this was posted) it is leading me to believe this was not actually you who posted this review.  So again, please contact me so I can address anything you believe I did incorrectly and I will attempt to right any wrongs to the best of my ability.

  This was my first time purchasing a home and needless to say I was very nervous. After meeting Michael Hatzidakis at cross country mortgage through a colleague, my worries were put to rest. He explained every part of the process to me with patience and constant communication between me and my lawyer and realtor to make sure we were all on the same page. Michael’s knowledge and tenacity far exceeded my expectations and I would recommend anyone purchasing a home to work with Michael and his entire team at cross country who made me feel like a priority at all times! Thank you again Michael and your entire team for making this entire process as stress free as it can be! You guys are a diamond in the rough!

  Please don’t make the same mistake I did using him for anything. I lost a lot of money. I hope this helps someone
