      They are better then the chain banks. I interact with them at least once a month and never had a problem and I live 3 hours away.

      It would take me an hour to drive to a MSDFCU branch, but i still use them for my primary checking account. There are online only banks with higher savings rates and fancier web interfaces, but the friendliness and competence of the MSDFCU staff makes it the best choice for some of my needs.

      What previously was a recommended bank, they have become one of the slowest at processing transactions. Will keep my account in good standing, but will not use their loan or credit card services.
