  The below negative reviews are not related to Merchant Financial Group at all. I've been with Merchant Financial Group for 2+ years and it is an excellent place to work and do business. Merchant Financial Group has excellent senior leadership and talent at all levels. After coming from a banking background, Merchant Financial Group has provided me with the tools to grow in my career. The company has entrepreneurial spirit and flexibility, which a bank simply cannot offer. I highly recommend this company in every way.

  I have been working with Merchant for 4.5 years. Merchant has been servicing businesses of all sizes with their financial needs for over 35 years. With hands on management Merchant is able to be flexible with your business needs the way typical banks cant.

  I am an attorney, and recently have been inundated with calls from people who claim they purchased or subscribed to a service providing a "UCC list" purportedly containing my information on it (which appears to be consistently incorrect information). They all call and claim to be informed that I am looking for a business credit line or advance - which is absolutely false. Most say that their records show I have applied and failed to obtain the funding (another patently false claim - I have never applied so I could never have been declined). Most of them say this information was provided to them by Merchant Funding Corp. as a subscription service. If there is any truth to that claim and you are one of these subscribers you are not only wasting your time (and mine) with this ridiculous list - and you are wasting your money on the subscription too.

  Like most businesses, we too are constantly bothered by these calls. However, we don't make these sort of calls nor do we provide lists of names to call. We are not "Merchant Funding Corp". Our company, Merchant Financial Group does offer a variety of commercial financial services but we do not engage these annoying sales tactics.

  Unprofessional from top to bottom - to the point of being downright rude. You will end up paying a lot more than you think. From experience, they do not treat small accounts well. If they were the last factors on earth, I would still avoid them like the plague.
