  Opened an account here years ago as an employee. Used them for a car loan and was offered the lowest APR compared to other providers. I’ve also had a personal loan here with no issues. Granted the hours aren’t extended like a larger bank but for the lower rates it’s worth it. The fraud detection on debit card is a little touchy but they just lock up card till you get a phone call from fraud alert (within 5 mins) asking you to confirm the attempted charge; for this reason I only use the card as a debit when I can I put a pin. Also card won’t accept incoming credits from PayPal and other payment apps (they may have resolved this by now). They do accept direct deposits. If any of these things will be an issue for you then have a larger bank be your primary. Never had an issue with customer service or getting a hold of them via phone & email.

  I used to be a member at Tenet credit union for their employees and all employees were given loans. They were not discrimated against. Memorial will give every employee its special loans for small amounts but if an employee needs a loan for a car to buy a house or refinance you cant get it. I've seen two employees with the same credit score come in for a loan the employee who was of different more favored ethnic background got a loan over the other. If the credit union is here for the employees as they state then they should be willing to help all employees who are in need considering you have to agree to automatic payroll deduction for the loan. We the employees are investing and depositing our money for your use so we should be given help when we need it. Credit doesn't matter for holiday loans or special loans then it shouldn't matter for all your loan products. I. Think these special no credit loans are only given when they see they aren't generating any income due to low loan eing taken out by employees.

  Just went in to ask for change for a $100 bill. Representative told she can't change it unless I have an account. Wow! This makes me very glad I am not a member

  Im at the door now. It’s closed. It’s 1600 pm on Thurs. time closing posted on door and website says 1800. Can you please update your listed hours to reflect actual open hours.

  So much for convenience. If they can't open on a weekend then they really need a 24 hour service that puts you through a human than an automated person who keeps hanging up on you.

  I mostly deal with the credit union at Memorial West but I can say that they are super nice, helpful, and convenient for me.
