This post is written to commend Janet Fletcher-Moles, Contact Center Representative, for excellent customer support!! In my opinion, Janet went above and beyond the call of duty in handling my banking issue! She was knowledgeable, kind and considerate! She should train other customer service reps. in providing service to the public. I wish there were more customer service reps. like her! I thank and appreciate her so much for making a difficult issue easier for me. Good job, Janet!!!

      Response from the owner

Hello Sandra! We are thrilled to hear about the wonderful service you received from Janet. Thanks so much for the positive feedback.

I opened a savings account here because I wanted to have a local bank in case I needed a local bank for anything. My regular bank is out of state and I continue to use it because of the benefits with debit cards and other benefits. I needed to get a car loan and I went with a different bank because of rates compared to Members First once I decided I didn't want to keep that account because I wasn't using I went to close it. When I got to the bank I discovered since August they started tacking on a $5.00 fee because I wasn't using it. You would think that they would have let me know. When I opened the account they said NOTHING about it. When I asked to talk to someone the bank manager said she couldn't help me with reversing the charges. She then went in the back and said she spoke to someone else and they said they couldn't help and that I would have to call the main office. I called the main office 30 minutes before closing and they said there was no one for me to talk to because they had all left early for the day. They should have let me know that that they were going to start charging a $5.00 fee I would have closed it out when I was notified of it. I figured it was just a little savings account that was just sitting there and not bothering anything or anyone but yet they felt they could take $30 from my account without my knowledge.

      Response from the owner

Hello Janene, Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. We are sorry that you had a negative experience with us. Our goal is the total satisfaction of our members. As part of our normal account opening process, we are required to provide you account disclosures that includes a schedule of fees. Part of the fees disclosed is a $5 inactivity fee that is charged to the account after 24 months of inactivity. There is no excuse for the way things transpired after you brought your dissatisfaction to our attention. As a credit union that puts its members first, we want to do what we can to make things right. Someone will be reaching out to you shortly to discuss the issue further.

My husband and I stopped in to open a joint checking account for paying bills. Jasmine listened carefully and took care of us in no time at all. It was a pleasant experience for all of us and we left Members First with a smile on our faces. Jasmine Crenshaw rocks!!!

It has been the best experience with a bank that I have ever had. There is no question that the entire staff is there to help and they truly care about their customers. Great communication and very knowledgeable.

      Response from the owner

Thanks Stefan for the positive review. That’s the credit Union difference. We value your membership!

Very courteous and very efficient. Went above and beyond the norm. Spoke to a man previously who made promise and didn't follow through. This young lady is definitely an asset to customers as well as the credit union.

      Response from the owner

Hello Mattie. We appreciative the feedback and are happy to hear that we were able to meet your expectations.

Had a problem with malware on my computer that created problems with accessing my account. After having the malware removed, I needed help reestablishing password access to my account. I was very patiently directed through the process, which required several steps. I am totally tech incompetent and could not have had a better, easier experience.

The service that I got was good but the waiting period is a little bit too long and the calls need to be directed to the branch that you are affiliated with and I think also if you are a member they should automatically give you overdraft protection

10 plus days? MFCU takes this long or longer to pay local accounts after deducting said amount from my bank account - causes credit issues harmful to reputation and irritating as hell when you can't find someone to help who has this kind of time or money? i've overpaid ONE bill over 2K been waiting for over 10 days for a 2K payment to clear and pay off the bill has anyone besides me had this experience or am i just lucky? will be moving money, closing account as soon as this train wreck is straightened out i thought going through the drive through trying to cash refund checks was bad .... instead of getting the amount of the checks, 40+ $ was kept and I was sent $15 ... thought that would make it's way to the bank account or savings account... it hasn't yet.... it just keeps getting better! not even 1 star at this point
