      We have had such a wonderful experience with our loan officer: Brittany Minterfering! She has gone well above and beyond helping us with our title issues with the sale of our RV, as we are travelers and are out of state. She has helped us with a couple other personal loans also, and is always professional, friendly, and has been so very helpful! Highly recommend her if you are seeking a personal loan. I have been a member of MFCU for almost 40 yrs., I can honestly say that MFCU has been with me through good and bad financial times! This young lady sure is an asset to MFCU! I'm so grateful for their personable staff! Keep up the great work!

      Members first is the worst credit union ever. They do nothing to help the people who bank there yet have all this bull advertising stating “hard times happen” everywhere. Policies change all the time and they harass you over a $20 line of credit payment AFTER you told them you could pay it in a couple days once your check comes in. Honestly, I wouldn’t tell my worst enemy to bank there.

      I have used MFCU (FEDCOM) for many years. I have another credit union and a business bank that I also have access to, but prefer to use MFCU. The people that work there are always waiting with a smile and polite conversation. I recently did an auto loan and a HELOC loan through them, and the process went smooth and fast. I would recommend using them. I currently use the Jenison branch.

      Applied for a loan through MFCU to help with my credit, I was worried that the process was going to be difficult but was a very easygoing process. The agent who helped me was very polite and also showed me other loans I was approved for :)

      My father died. He received an insurance refund for over $300. I brought them a copy of the will and all paperwork to show that it goes to me but they refuse to cash it because he didn't have an account with their bank. He has no account with any bank so therefore I'm not able to cash that check. I brought them another check that is in both of our names and I provided them the death certificate to show that he's deceased and they won't catch that either. I will be switching to a different bank soon.

      Awful experience! I have had accounts with this bank for over 10 years. I seldom use my debit card on this account. An unauthorized payment kept trying to post to my account the bank did not pay it but charged me 3 overdraft fees just for them trying. This left my account In the negative 80 dollars, which if I would have known about it I would have paid it, like I said no reason to check I hadn't used it. I go in to do the whatever loan that I do every year and the lady tells me I have to pay this 80 dollars first. Okay so I pay it. Go back in to do loan and then she tells me they closed my checking account yesterday which I must have to qualify for the loan! Are you Fricken serious I say to the lady. I ask why I was not notified by phone, mail, nothing. she said they sent the letter the day before which I won't even receive for another day yet they already closed it?! The lady said I should check my balance and there was nothing she could do she was rude and unprofessional. 10 years! All my loans are at this bank! Not to mention the negative balance was their overdraft fees for which they never even paid anything! Also no notice and then hide the fact they already closed my account to take my money and refuse me the loan which was my rent money which I was fine with being I was under the impression I was getting the loan like I have every year for years with no issues so I would still have been able to pay my bills and have the money for Christmas. Nope! Then they refused to open a new account for me! Be ware Do not use this bank! This is how they treat loyal long time customers. I left the bank in tears!!!!!

      Been with MFCU for years! Always have the most helpful people. Wouldn't even think of switching. Had someone put my account # on their autopay bill. They tried to take the money from an account I seldom use (so there was not money). I was charged an overdraft fee and even though I didn't catch it right away, when I did catch it, I went in and they reversed the fee and investigated to see what happened. Hasn't happened again since. Thank you MFCU for being GREAT and HELPFUL

      Would not recommend at all. They are not like most credit unions in Michigan. Better places to get loans from.

      Got a $1000 whatever loan through them quite a few years ago. Took me a while but I paid it all off;however, when I went to open an account at Wildfire the lady there said it still shows as unpaid. Sure enough I called members first and the lady I talked to;first of all, was very rude and couldn't even find my account. She did say that they would update my account to have it recorded as paid off which should've been done years ago. Mind you it was only $8 but still it's been on my record without me knowing for quite sometime. By the way the lady's name at Members first who answered the phone was Renee. Not very friendly bat all. I will never go back. Wildfire has my business now and I recommend Jen. She has helped me out and was very nice.
