Grace DeNardo1This bank is a joke. Had a check clear at 11:18 PM AT NIGHT that was paid on December 14th and they charged me an overdraft fee when I had sufficient fees in my account not even 45 minutes later. When called to ask to reverse overdraft fee they said they couldn’t do it. Enjoy my $37 Members First, I guess you need it more than I do!
Response from the ownerHi Grace DeNardo, we are sorry to hear about your experience and our team would like to take a closer look at your situation. Please email us at [email protected]. Thank you!

Florence F1I wouldn’t trust this bank to hold 5 dollars for me. I’ve had nearly 2,000 stolen from me because of this bank’s incompetence. Repeatedly tried to call, email, and see them in person and got no help. No one knows what they’re doing here. A bank ran by 8 year olds in Monopoly would function better.

Paul Hake2This branch is the only branch I refuse to bank at. The tellers are rude and always have a problem with giving me cash telling me to call ahead for my own money all the time. It's like they need proof why I need my own money to get it. No other branch acts this way with this bank. Though it must be Hanover thing with banks and all other banks are very rude and often disrespectful too.
Response from the ownerHi Paul Hake, we are sorry to hear about your experience and our team would like to take a closer look at your situation. Please email us at [email protected]. Thank you.

james ortiz1Flat out worst Bank I've ever dealt with. They will take out overdraft fees continuously regardless of whether or not you have proof of deposit showing for over a week they will still take your withdrawals before your deposit then charge you $37 for each withdrawal that should have came out after you deposit went in. Then they will claim that they can't refund you that because they only do one for the lifetime of the account and your deposits don't go in till 6:00 in the morning so you will not have access to your money at midnight.
Response from the ownerHi James Ortiz, we are sorry to hear about your experience. Our team would like to take a closer look at your situation. Please email us at [email protected] with additional details. Thank you!

Rachel Dolly1STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS BANK. This bank is an absolute joke. I had approx. $150 worth of reoccurring charges on my debit card from some place in Bulgaria. I, of course, disputed these charges, which was a nightmare of a process. It took 3 weeks to get a "provisional credit" for the amount that was taken from my account. Today I have received a notice from the bank that they do not believe the charges were fraudulent, therefore, they will be taking back the provisional credit. I have been sitting on the phone for 37 minutes with the company Members First outsources to handle any card disputes, just to be told that I can file a rebuttal if I don't like their decision. They will mail me the reason they denied my claim of fraud but cannot tell me over the phone. Nobody from the local branch is willing to help me, except to give me the number to the company that handles debit/credit card dispute.
Response from the ownerHi Rachel Dolly, we are sorry to read your review and would welcome the opportunity to discuss your situation further. Please email us at [email protected]. Thank you.

Carolyn Sterner1I really enjoyed spending the better part of my lunch break at the drive thru window of the Members 1st Bank on Carlisle St in Hanover Pa. This Bank feels its o.k. to train an extremely slow trainee at their customers expence not to mention while this customer is burning up gas at their drive thru window. I spent over 20 minutes two days in a row at this Banks drive thru window not in line at the window trying to deposits two checks. If any trainee needs 10 minutes per check to complete a deposit transactions they are certainly not ready to be waiting on customers. The funniest thing about this is the Bank feels a Thank You for your patience comment should serfice for this rude waist of their customers time and gas. Thank You Carolyn Sterner
Response from the ownerHi Carolyn Sterner, we are sorry to hear about your experience. We will pass along your feedback to our team. If you would like to discuss your situation further, please call us at (800) 237-7288. Thank you!

Timothy Hagerman1Do not bank or get loans here. I have a motorcycle loan through this bank. I did not insure it or ride it during covid. Because of this the bank saw it fit to charge me for not insuring the bike I wasn't riding due to financial struggles from covid. I raised concerns with the bank and was told it was taken care of.. It wasn't and I now still have the bill and all the late fees accociated with it. Stick to a real bank.. not this credit union.
Response from the ownerHi Timothy Hagerman, we are sorry to hear about your experience and would appreciate the opportunity to discuss it further. Please email our team at [email protected]. Thank you!

Kevin Kirwan1On November 29th I went through the drive-thru of this Bank. I withdrew $500.00. The ATM went through the motion on the screen of counting out the money told me to remove my card and a receipt came out but no cash. I immediately went into the bank with the receipt and explain the situation. They told me there was nothing they could do about it. I told them if they didn't close down the ATM and count it and review their videotape I would call the police. They did as I asked and counted the machine and found that it was over by $503 the $3 was the service charge they hit me for and didn't even give me the cash. They then reviewed the tape and agreed that no cash was dispersed. They refused to refund my money or give it to me and told me the card issuer needed to file a dispute which will take up to 3 to 4 weeks. I filed a police report and a transaction dispute with my card company but all I can say is do not trust this Bank. They verified that my money was never disbursed and they also verified that the machine was over by the exact amount I was charged. Stay away!!!
