      Member One on Electric is the worst one. The one on Hershberger is much better, IMHO. One of the women over here at the Electric one thought it was a bright idea to call me a liar! I was alone, and they asked if I have a family. I responded I have three girls. The woman asked me a question about parenting, I was caught off guard & answered it incorrectly. She took that as I am nothing but a fraud. She asked “Are you sure you really have three girls?” And she asked “Why aren’t they with you?” This was on the weekend, I told her they were with my significant other. She gave me a look of disapproval, she obviously didn’t believe me. But I could care less, people are absolutely crazy these days. The way she questioned me and doubted me is proof of how crazy people are. My girls are my world, that’s not a smooth move to basically tell me my whole world is a lie! I will not ever return to this branch. I suggest retraining and maybe replacing a few people here.

      Don't bank here. Didn't use the account for years. Seven months after I quit using it fraud charges was put on my account. They let the transaction go through 3 times and charged me $105 while sending it to collection agency. Closed the account and will never bank with them again.

      It's a bank! Didn't go with their plan as there was some hoops that I didn't really want to jump through. Wouldn't really trust a federal bank with my money anyhow haha.

There is a big difference! Credit unions are nonprofits that you must be a member of in order to do your banking with us.       Randomly started charging $3 "Statement fees" to mail your monthly statement demanding online only when their online portal frequently fails. AND after years of claiming paperless was "optional". Terrible management decisions. I closed my account and would not recommend them to anyone.

This was not a change that our organization took lightly and it is a common practice among financial institutions, including other credit unions, and offer benefits to members. e-Statements are fast, convenient, secure, eco-friendly, and free. All Member One members (both with paper statements as well as e-Statements) received notifications in every statement since September 2020 of this fee to begin with January 2021 statements. We also engaged in multiple marketing campaigns and specifically communicated to members not already enrolled in e-Statements to encourage them to sign up and thus avoid the charge. We are sorry to hear that you closed your account with Member One, and we are always here if you would like to come back.

      Getting anything done at this branch is a chore. The tellers are slow, both inside and at the drive-thru. There is regularly a line that can take over 20 minutes to get through. This branch is understaffed with uneducated tellers. The ATM is antiquated. I can not recommend anyone become a member at this credit union.

      The policies of this bank make absolutely no sense to me. Why would it take 10 business days for funds to be made available to the member after the check is deposited, with NO WAY of expediting it? I was told that once the decision has been made to hold a check, they absolutely cannot lift that hold. Even if they have a hard copy check in their possession. I could have easily gone just about anywhere to cash said check, and I'd have my funds in hand immediately. Member One customer service is awful, and their policies are ridiculous. I will be closing my account with them as soon as possible, and I recommend anyone else reading this to bank elsewhere.

      Longtime customer (1979) dating back to when it was the N&W Credit Union. Helpful, informed staff have always answered my questions concerning my personal and business account. Most recently with securing a PPP COVID business loan. Highly recommended.

      The robot female employee at the window said they couldn’t deposit a check because it had my daughters name on it and she did not have an account with them. Just two days prior, they did indeed deposit a check, with my daughters name on it. Also, she kept grilling me what account I wanted the deposit put in.(obviously she had not even taken the time to look at said check) I had (as I am going to close all accounts) a money market account with obligatory savings needed. There have been no deposits to the savings, plus I provided the account card given to me by the bank, plus I have never been ask this questions before. She has no idea what customer service is. Customer service is not making things more difficult for the customer.

      Debit card was hacked on the Internet. Trying to get this taken care of was almost impossible. It’s been over three weeks and still no card. Impossible to get local number.
