      My experiences with Member First Mortgage could literally not have been any better. From day one I was treated with kindness and respect. I felt like I was a friend rather than a customer. We have completed both a refinance as well as a new home purchase with Member First with no regrets. Loan products were explained to me clearly and recommendations were made based on our particular needs even with special circumstances.       The experience from the initial discussion about the goals for refinancing of our home was outstanding! No other institution could touch the interest rate and terms.       Even after I was quarrelsome by phone about the required cushion in my escrow account and after I sent an unsparing cancellation letter, the escrow department at MFM was polite, professional and quick in responding to my later requests. I probably would have been more tactful if I had realized how much help I'd need from them after cancelling my escrow account (sorry). But they were helpful and fast anyhow, and I'm sincerely grateful for it.

      I started the process to buy a home for the first time, I filled out the application to get pre-approved. They called me right away to finalize the application (awesome! I thought) well I was wrong didn't hear back from anyone else, I literally called 8 times, emailed and never hear from them in over a month, also got a beautiful hard inquiry on my credit score.. 2 months later (today) I receive and email frome someone on your team "reaching out to me".. are you serious? I take a hit on my credit score, no call back no emails Nothing.. I cannot dispute it cause I signed it saying they can pull my credit (some people wouldn't mind losing 18pts, but others that have worked hard to get a good enough score, it sucks). Waste of time. Thought I let you know, that I found a house, and my mortgage company I'm working with is amazing, and I close in just a couple weeks..

      Terrible customer service, -5 stars Downright worst mortgage experience I have ever been through. They took almost 6 months to close, I have a 801+ credit score. Already had an account and loan with them. Also not my first mortgage. They don't return calls in timely manner, leave you under assumtions, then change conditions last minute and say it was a "mistake". Then Sold my mortgage off to another company before EVEN closing. Every step of the way was bs and didn't need to be. But use another credit union because CUs have the best rates. Pulled my credit a second time, BECAUSE OF THEIR INCOMPOTANCE. It was their fault, not mine, things got delayed. (Someone was supposedly off work) not my problem. Dropped my good credit score because of this. Said they would fix it and never did. They said they would have a manager call me after the loan process and work things out, when I said this is wrong. They never did. Thanks for nothing in the beginning and nothing in the END. Look elsewhere if you want good customer service.

      I wanted to decrease the amount of time from a 30 year to 15. With the rates as low as they are I wanted to take advantage. Members first was very professional, thorough and made the transaction super easy

      DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. My experience with this company is solely based off a current experience. I originally applied for this loan back on August 3rd and had received an email to continue finishing or can call in. Well I called in and spoke with the Buckley Geno III. He had the biggest attitude ever. Red flag. Then I receive a phone call from a Kevin Trumble a couple of days later. Here it is August 26th and I have only spoken with their “loan consultants” Kevin Trumble over the phone once and via email maybe twice. I have reached out one time and one time is enough if you’re trying to gain me as a customer. I shouldn’t have to chase someone down to respond to my emails and voicemail. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOURE DESPERATE AND EVERYONE ELSE HAS TURNED YOU DOWN. AND EVEN THEN JUST CONTINUE TO WORK ON YOUR CREDIT AND GO WITH A RESPECTABLE COMPANY. Reaching out to speak with anyone else is a joke. I called in and their receptionist phone is horrible. After explaining to her that her phone connection was bad she just hung up the phone. Getting to a manager is a joke. Again, DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY.

      Beverly Burik was not very helpful as I was exploring options for my family with a refinance and a rental property. The responses via email were very short then she totally ignored me. It was very rude and unprofessional. There are many other companies out there and that’s no way to treat potential customers.
