  McMann Commercial Lending is a fabulous organization. What we really appreciate is that they are nearly a one stop shop. Every time we have had a commercial project requiring a loan they had the product to answer our requirements. They are responsive, knowledgeable and efficient. Thank you McMann for being there when we are ready. It is a pleasure not to have to go shop for loans ever again.

  Open communication and honesty are key in financial decisions. Walt is very up front, he will tell you like it is without sugarcoating or embellishment. This line of communication is essential when dealing with loans. I can't think of anyone I would rather work with for a loan!! If you need a loan you should talk to Walt for sure!

  Walt has been very professional from the outset. He helped me think through the pros and cons of various financing options. Was not pushy in any way but also didn't ignore me and kept in constant contact. He has a wealth of contacts and can provide a wide array of options. I would highly recommend him, he is very good at what he does!

  Small Multifamily Commercial Loans are difficult to find lenders for under 1 mil. However after trying couple of lenders that closed the doors on us Walt Trock was able to open a door for us and fund our small commercial multifamily loan in a market that is less than 100,000 population in the county, another reason why banks had a difficult time with it. Now, because we were the first small commercial loan to fund it did take some learning along the way and some changes last minute thus a slow process to close. Thankfully our seller was extremely understanding and McMAnn Commercial Lending delivered as promised. We are still learning with McMann Commercial Lending since it is a new product they rolled out but I know Walt can deliver and hope our next loan with them will be even smoother and faster. Glad we found them!

  I wanted to take time to write my review for Walt. I started working with Walter at McMann commercial lending in March of 2018 for a commercial property in order to obtain a loan to purchase a building. As I write this review on October 22nd 2018..over 7 months later, I am out of over $5,000 and no property( about 4500 was for Walters company fees . I will not laden my review with emotional banter, however I will discuss the ongoing months of me calling walt asking for updates to only be told I need to submit more documentation. I submitted documents that had been previously submitted because the time frame had expired on other previous items. I was timely on all request from Walt and Initially this process started out fine until Walt overlooked some of my documentation that held up the process..he did apologize for this and I was still willing to see the deal through only to go on for another 3 or 4 months where I was being told underwriting was processing my application...which then lead to pretty much nothing happening. So I finally withdrew my application seeing that nothing was progressing. As I stated in the beginning the process was moving along..so well I even referred a colleague to Walt only to have her loan not go through and she would easily have gotten a loan at a bank but given the specialization Walt touted I referred him to my colleague. My overall experience was that Walt was quick to collect his fees up front but when it came time to get this deal done the motivation was no longer there, meaning if I didnt follow up I would not get any updates . Walt I would encourage you in the future to make sure you can complete a loan before you charge your fees..it will paint a bad reputation for your clients like it did for me.

  I read your review, one of the facts that you failed to mention is that we have worked with you for over six months overcoming the obstacles that put your loan into suspension. McMann invested a great deal of extra ordinary time in helping you qualify for the loan to buy and rehab the Detroit property. Most lenders would have rejected your application after the initial challenges were determined yet McMann continued to work with you to qualify and close your F&F loan. You were also advised that McMann funds you your loan through a 3 party. Any funds sent to McMann were sent were forwarded to the bank to pay bank fees for a F&F loan. After McMann originates, processes and propagates the loan system the bank processor takes over verifying the loan docs and getting the loan ready for closing. You even signed off on the bank disclosures and you received emails from the bank processor about your loan during the process. So you were well aware who was processing your loan. And you knew that, after the loan was turned over to the bank processor, the speed of the transaction was out of hands of McMann. If you have a complaint about the speed of the final approval and setting up a closing, it should be against the 3rd party that was in charge of processing and closing your loan. You are holding McMann responsible for something over which it had no input or control. You have the name, phone number and email address of the processor on this loan. Your complaint should be addressed to that individual who is an independent 3rd party and not McMann Commercial Lending.

  Walt Trock has delivered on a large number of real estate projects in the last three years. Walt is a professional who has an extensive list of investors with low interest rates, and extensive experience with real estate construction projects. Please note: Walt has one complaint from the "Ripoff Report" by a former employee who is currently in prison because of Walt’s testimony on his crime. Walt has a letter from the Indiana Department of Supervision stating the web report is wrong, but the website will not remove it without Walt paying thousands of dollars to the website.
