Debi Smith1I have been a member for more than 15 yrs and I was quite disappointed that they switched by account charging me $8 a month maintenance fee. The new account offered "free" services I have not used once in 15 yrs. They claim that they sent out a letter that you had to respond to in 30 days - I checked my emails and I never received that communication via email or USPS. Regardless of the numbers of inquiries I made on the phone and messages thru their website I was told to pick any other account - all were listed on the website and I could do it online. I could not find where to do that. I live over an hour away from any branch and by the time I could get to a branch to stop this $8 fee - I have already lost more than $100. Sorry, but making a change that charges the member, hoping they don't respond, is pretty low. The kiosks they use at Michigan office to do your banking offer no privacy whatsoever. While I was there handling my business with the front desk person, a member was doing her banking where you could hear both sides of the conversation. It made me very uncomfortable. They offer - no privacy at all. With identity theft on the rise, they need to find a better way. I changed by address over a month ago. When i was at the Michigan St branch she acknowledged my new address. Today, you guessed it ....I received letters from McCoy that were sent to my old address and forwarded to my new address. I called the day the letters arrived and there were 17 people ahead of me. I chose the option for a team member to return my call -- and, of course, two days later no one has called. I just reached a team member who changed my address AGAIN and said that when the Michigan branch scanned my license it reverted back to my old address. Even though, I told her my new license had not come in she clearly did not take the time to be sure my new address stayed in the system. I am thoroughly disappointed in the lack of service with McCoy. Maybe its this branch but I doubt it.. The services since I originally became a member have fallen short beyond I would expect a CU to treat their members. Years ago it was top notch.

H2Nightmare. 45 minutes to speak with someone each time you call. The automated phone systems do not work. I have been trying to get transferred over from a credit union they bought out. Do yourself a favor and go with Fairwinds CU. What a mistake

Sharon1This is not about the Michigan Street office. This is about The call center that a business has to call to get a change order. I realized this bank is not the 1st bank you would think of for business banking. I have been calling in change orders for my Company for almost 3 years. The First year and a half was to the point comical. They wanted my SSN, date of birth ect. Each time stating that I am not coming to pick it up. Just calling. Believe it or not most business owner have people to do this. The last year has been a breeze with customer service. Until today. When calling in a change order,Niesha picked up phone. Went through the questions. And told me I am not an account holder (which I agreed). She said she needed the acct holder. I explained that I am and have been calling in for years. And assured her the account holder would make the transaction. She was less than courteous. As a member of the largest credit union in our area, I would never change my personal accounts to do business with this company. The Staff at the Michigan branch are not the issue.

In a world where no one what's to help and customers service is a thing of the past. Maykell Lorenzo5I got to McCoy Federal Credit Union on a Friday after 5:15 pm. Joel Cruz helped me right away and I was able to wire money to complete a closing on a house. He called the law office and verified that everything was correct. Instead of doing everything fast to finish and go home he took his time and handled everything professionally making sure everything went smoothly. Very good customer service.

Brad Tillbrooks1The worst bank I have ever used. I came to Orlando thinking credit unions were great based on previous experience. The ATM is seldom working correctly and I have had an instance of this CU ordering the debits so that my account is overdrawn multiple times (taking largest debit from same day rather than lower debit) on the same day instead of just once. This institution is NOT on your side or the side of working families. Do not be fooled by the "local neighbor" schtick... it's all patter. Please go to a national bank for actual service, if you are able.

Juke Juke 22002Literally one more mistake from this particular branch and I'm withdrawing and finding me another bank for me and my family I do not like tellers who do not do their job and then goes back and forth with you about it. whoever the teller is in the front the black lady need to really get it together and should probably be told you shouldn't go back and forth with upset bankers especially when it's your fault and I wasn't even being rude but that could have turned into a very bad situation In a place of business. I've heard great things about McCoy Federal please get it together.
