  Multiple issues from electrical outlets dead to multiple roof leaks, to being robbed from a trade. Our builder supervisor walked away from our job after closing with many open issues from our punch list. Never seen him again. If it wasn’t for our warranty guy we would be totally lost. Thank God he is an upstanding guy. I have built many houses,,this is the worst. Sad.

  Our contractor is very accommodating and listens to our issues. The overall build time is stressful as we anticipated a closing date much sooner.

  We have lived a year and a half. This is a great neighborhood. Very friendly people and a Beautiful Club House with a resort style pool and exercise room full of machines for members use. We love our new home, and the weather in southwest Florida is great. We previously lived one Padre Island in Corpus Christi, Texas for 16 yrs. We really like this area and have made it our permanent home.

  Mattamy is currently building our new home at the Renaissance. We have never heard of Mattamy before. Of course, I can say that for most of the builders in Florida since we are from Missouri and moving to Florida. Spent 6 months of researching all the different communities from Sarasota to Fort Myers talking with many of the builders. I will say we enjoyed our visits to all the communities and everyone was nice. Finally, our decision was the Wellen Park area. Looks like a beautiful area and there are some grand plans for growing this area in the future. It was a tough decision on which community, because they are all nice and beautiful. Besides the beautiful floor plan we selected, Tim Berling sold us on this community. He was very professional and not only about the community; he went above and beyond answering and responding to all of our questions about the area and the house. If he didn't know the answer he would find out and get back to us ASAP. So far the Mattamy Home Building process has been excellent! Our designer Janet Torres was exceptional and my wife and daughter just loved her. She helped us with all the tough decisions and selections and even gave her professional opinion. Our next process was customizing our pool. Mattamy uses Coast to Coast Pools and our Sales Rep was David Walker. Since we have never owned a pool before David was inspirational on helping us to create a brilliant design for our home. David was very responsive and if he could not respond, his wife, Jennifer would. Mattamy started building our home in November. The superintendent Paul Cross setup an initial meeting to discuss the building process. We have built four houses in the past and I can honestly say I have never had a more detail meeting of the building process. Paul was outstanding. He even tries to send updates to us weekly with pictures. Now, that is Customer Service! I just want to thank Mattamy so far for making the process smooth and both of us cannot wait to move into our house in 2021! Thanks, Chuck

  I was unable to get my buyers into the new home center. There was a big WELCOME sign out front. The door was locked. We rang the bell, after a while a man did come to the door. He was rude and said that they were busy. He suggested we look at the models. Some of them were locked. We went back to the new home center and rang the bell again. No body answered. The pool and club house were locked and I was unable to show it. The buyer did intend to make a purchase. The wanted to pay cash and had proof of funds for over a million dollars. They were really turned off to Mattamy homes. They returned to there home state very disappointed. Wow, so sad!

  We love our house and we had a terrific building experience with Mattamy Homes. It's nice how they really include the homeowner and you always feel like you're in the loop. Once you've moved in, there's so much to do! We are so happy.

  Having purchased 6 homes during my life so far in new communities, I can tell you one thing for certain: pay attention to the level of pleasant treatment you get from staff in sales office. Their level of engagement, enthusiasm and helpfulness is directly proportionate to the level of service you can expect as a future client/resident. That being said, we really liked the floor plans and property amenities, just a shame the sales woman was just not pleasant. Won't be back, too many others in the area to take a chance here.

  We live here and we love it! Great floor plans and quality workmanship. Very conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, and the beaches.

  Staff is not friendly at all. Wouldn't buy a home there . I drove up the street bought in Sarasota National where you were greeted properly and we bought there

  Very central to all of West Villages / Wellen Park. Beautiful homes with a design build center...and reasonably priced for this area of SW Florida.
