  My mortgage required a full condo review. I was hoping for good but was prepared for worth. Before review was done I spoke with CrossCountry Mortgage team member Lacey and asked her is it possible to move from full review to limited one with 25% down instead of 5% down for full one in case of negative result. She assured me it is no problem. OK. Full condo review did not pass. On a conference call with Mat and Lacey I was told that I have the option to go to 25% down payment and limited condo review. In my understanding Matt team had all necessary documents for full review, so to do limited review would take very short time. One week later I called CrossCountry Mortgage team and was informed that my mortgage application did not pass condo review and the deal is off. And all of this happened one week before closing date. I have no documentation with denial note and any explanation why it was denied. Now I'm working with another agency trying to close the deal. My suggestion. Stay away from this team. And if you decide to deal with them always demand documentation for every word and every decision you made. I wouldn't recommend this team to anyone. I hope to do closing with another team.

  We definitely hit the jackpot selecting Matt Weaver and his team to help us through our first home purchase. They made the process super easy and I felt like they were always reachable to answer any questions we had. The service was very personable and we were very impressed by the level of professionalism. We actually shopped our mortgage with 3 other companies and none of them even came close to the level of service Matt's team delivered, it wasn't even a competition. Thank you guys for everything. We will definitely reach out again when we are ready to buy our 2nd home.
