I’m very happy with the customer service with Marisol Credit union. I just financed my new vehicle and the loan process was fast and easy to get pre approved. Better rates than going though a dealership. Thanks to Tomas Rivas who was always in contact with me. Who also provided the information I needed for each vehicle I looked at. Over all I recommend this credit union.

Been a member for a while now. I’ve never had an issue with any of my accounts or services from Marisol. When I go in everyone is helpful and polite. In the process of moving all my accounts here and also have my car financed through them. Legit happy customer.

      Response from the owner

Thank you for the kind words, and thank you for being a valued member.

I just recently began the process to set up a checking account with MFCU because I am a ValleyWise Employee. Karrie sent me the information I needed to send over and was VERY attentive to me. She called me on 2 different days because of scheduling conflicts and never seemed bothered with me at all. I enjoyed talking with her. Aside from the checking, we applied for a loan. A few months back my mom became critically I’ll with Covid and needed to be put on a ventilator. This took a toll on my household and now that my mom is back at her home getting better we are hoping to get approved for a loan to get back on our own feet so that we can avoid loans with severely high interest rates. I talked with Shana, and so far she’s been great. No one has berated or belittled us- thus far. Everyone seems super nice and even Shana can’t get an approval, I whole heartedly can see that she tried and always talked to me like a kind human being!

I’ve been with Marisol about 3 years. Account always in good standing consistent direct deposits. I was denied a small loan and had to use title loan company. They even asked me to do an interview for an article about their program to help people get out of title loans and bank with them (I completed the program). Yet, couple years later when I needed a loan they denied me. Now shared branching is no longer an option so I can not deposit my cash, unless I drive 30 minutes to branch in Phoenix. Update! I am still with Marisol several years now. I received email about consolidation loan. I have to small bill so wanted to consolidate. Applied for loan spoke with someone from loan department who gathered info and was denied again based on debt income ration. I understand how loans work but my income significantly increased since I applied for a small loan over year ago and was denied. I have been faithful with continuous direct deposit’s and to not even consider an alternative to assist a member what is the use of I have to go somewhere else to get financial assistance like again a registration loan company. Either way I have to make payments and I would prefer my bank with better interest rates. I think it’s time to find another financial institute that is willing to help members in need.

Thank you for taking the time to make MariSol aware of your issue. I appreciate that you took time to speak with me today. It takes courage to make a complaint. Your complaint was heard. Thank you for accepting our resolution. Thank you for your membership. Robin Romano, CEO.

If I could only give them 0 stars. This Credit Union is awful. Don’t back with them. Shauna is not a people person and denies all the loans horrible service from her. Don’t bank here you will regret it. Horrible customer service from all the staff except from Margaret.

The car that I purchased is financed through this credit union. Within four months, this business has made me regret an otherwise suitable purchase. I was charged a late fee for an on time payment, have had to repeat a clerical error to several employees before the documents were corrected, and told my payments were not received when my personal bank’s reps confirmed multiple times within a two hour span. If you are interested in a financial institution with competence, this may not be your best solution.

I recently opened an account and secured credit card. I faxed in a change of address multiple times and it still isn't updated and I'm not able to access my credit card account to pay the service fee (I haven't even used the card). The staff was less than helpful the few times I called on this. Was told to fax in the updated address and my info is still being forwarded from old address. Looks like I'll need to miss time from work to close the account 🙄

Aside from waiting a week to get a replacement debit card, I can't think of any issues I've had with this bank. I like them and plan on continuing to use them for the foreseeable future.

Horrible staff! The employee have the worst attitude ever and do not know how to be professional! If anyone needs a credit union I recommend desert financial the employee are so professional and Handel your money with care and responsibility! I have never had as many issues as I do with a bank until I banked with them! They over charged my card MULTIPLE times and told sorry it was a mistake to wait it out! While having a horrible attitude! They have given a person a debit card attached to my moms account knowing that wasn't the name on the account pls do not bank here!

Got an auto loan on their pre approval letter. Got the gap insurance and warranty with them... only problem is they refuse to cover things! Should have just bought the one from the dealership! Waste of time and money! Also found out they charged me a higher rate than the dealership could have gotten me! Don’t be fooled by their BS preapproval letter
