I have two loans and two checking accounts with this bank. I’ve been a good customer and I Had my account overdrawn by $14 yesterday afternoon, after i checked my account and it showed positive online when I looked. This morning I checked my account and saw that it was -$38 and thought, that can’t be right so I looked a little deeper and found that a small fee was charged to my account and it overdrew my account by $14 and I saw a $25 overdraft fee. At this point I’m within 12 hours of my account telling me that it was positive and I’ve brought it from negative $38 to positive $12 by depositing $50 online. I then call the main bank in Knoxville and spoke with Debbie. I explained that predicament and she essentially told me that it’s my fault that my account went negative because I wasn’t paying enough attention to it and she can’t refund the $25 dollars because any overdraft has to be taken care of by the end of the business day. So I call the bank again and ask to speak with a boss and was transferred to Deb. She answered, though I didn’t think she realized it because she didn’t say anything to me but I heard her chatting with another employee and she said at one point “I can’t answer that” so I hung up. I switched to this bank to avoid being robbed by big corporate banks and today I only have $10 for gas instead of $35 because my bank is about money and not their customers.

The men and women at Iowa State Savings Bank are the most customer service oriented group that I've ever done business with. They are just plain friendly. I especially want to thank Brittany over at the drive-thru bank for going above and beyond to find me after I left my drivers license there. You would have to search far and wide to find better service than they offer.
