So grateful I was referred to them because they added my necklace connector on the fast, very easy to work, with super professional and clean shop all around very good experience and highly recommend if you need any jewelry repairs for add-ons to check them out. I was referred by the jewelry/ crystal shop I got my necklace from. Also super fair price all-around super satisfied with my decision to stop in.

Love this place good people very friendly and honest maybe even too honest .but they have always been there for me when I needed money. Max is a super good dude. Always willing to work with you and his staff is highly trained and knowledgeable about all things designer.dont listen to the naysayers come in and see for yourself.

Collection of high end designer apparel , staff in front was nice, facility clean. Interest rate for pawned items was extremely fair. Came in asking for 5, they offered me 450 for 2 chains they could resell for 600 each…. EASILY. Not that they care but lowballing did cost them returning business . Going back to my regular pawnshop

The staff here is rude and disrespectful . Nasty attitude the female who answers the phone has . Max requested photos and ignored me for hours .

They have always been fair with me. Used their services a few times. I find you just have to be patient, and polite and you get the same in return. The owner and son Tony have always been friendly and gave me fair loans and rates. I only put items in when an emergency and get my items back after all had settled. Don't judge a book by its cover, store is older and in a good location. Can be off putting to some, however if anyone is using such services for last minute help just be calm, request a fair value, and they are fair men. Business is business though. Personally, they have always been helpful when I was in a bind. I recommend them.

As collector of watches the worse experience EVER! Sold me a watch with fake documents! Counterfeit, fraud and threats are what the Owner Mr.Max Susini is facing Yes, because as soon as I check the watch, he threatened me and Attaching me Stay a way for this place! A real scam!

I needed some help with my rent last month so I went over to Marina Pawn. Let me just say that the new owners are some of the nicest people that I have ever met. Max went above and beyond to help me out on a day when I was at an all time low. I have since picked up my things, which were in perfect shape and have even recommended Marina Pawn to my best friend when he was in a jam. Needless to say, he had the same experience. I would be re-missed if I didn't mention the kindness of the two gentlemen he has working for him as well. They helped me unload, and load my SUV both times. I know this sounds like a paid review, but I can assure you that I am just a normal venice guy that needed a little help and now feel compelled to return the kindness with an honest and quality review. If you're looking for a pawn shop, I highly recommend Marina Pawn. They're good people.

      Response from the owner

I'm guessing a lot of people are stressed and not in the best frame of mind when they're walking into the doors of a pawnbroker. Overall my experience with Marina Pawn the couple of times I've gone in has been very positive. There's a few jumping behind the counter we've always been polite maybe a little sarcastic sometimes but they just try to keep the atmosphere light considering it's not a fun thing to go sell your stuff to somebody. Unfortunately I've had to do it many times over the years and Marina Pawn has been very fair and actually takes time to explain where they're getting their pricing from if you want to know. On two separate occasions they help bail me out of a jam literally giving me more money than what they originally offered just so I had enough to make do. The last time I was there I was selling some gold the owner walked in recognize me from being there in the past and told them just to bump up the dollar amount a hundred bucks to help me out for my continued business. I'd recommend you have an open mind it's not their fault you need cash

The location is one I'm familiar with and though after having had a bad experience prior concerning an Oculus VR set with controls, I opted to bring someone to try to help her buffer her bills with the pawn of her apple watch series 3. The person helping us seemed eager enough to help with the loan and pawn but I asked to check if he could just take my Galaxy S8+ for 100. That way the watch didn't need to be pawned. Clearly somewhere along the way there was a miscommunication. Long story short I won't pawn two high priced and mismatched items for 100 dollars. I'm told by the rep that they search LOWEST possible price via ebay. Nevermind the it's an on going issue with items being priced low beyond their value and the buyers never getting them from the seller on amazon and ebay. To this shop any advertised price, regardless of proof of item is cause to low ball their customers walking through those doors. Take your business elsewhere, where it is better appreciated and welcome. While there is nothing illegal of their business practice, that I can see, it doesn't mean their business model is a good one. The way the owner too replies to argue with those leaving reviews is very unprofessional and childish. I'm glad that twice now I've decided to walk away and find a better shop. This place is down the street from me and it's why I stopped here. No other reason.
