  Would rate this lower if I could. We have come here for years however this last visit was not good. Rented a floating trampoline and they claimed they couldn’t deliver it to our camp, then refused to refund our money. We also rented a boat for the next day and it was trashed. Ignition switch was just hanging there, seats torn, engine backfired constantly and ran out of gas in 2.5 hrs. We sat on the lake for an hour just to have the man who towed us back argue that boat was full of gas. They are incompetent and rude. We will be disputing the charges for the boat because they refuse to help. Once we were back to shore we asked what was being done about the broken boat and our money and he said give me a minute and he walked away and he smoked.

  Honesty and integrity go a long way. If you promise someone something and they pay in advance you should follow through. Aaron needs his dock!!!

  Sadly you are posting a review of a business you have never been a customer of at the request of an individual who chose to act in a childish manner and threw a tamper tantrum because he didn't get his way. Mr. WAGNER feels that having people he knows create a barrage of reviews is a tactic which will help him get his way, but we all know being a bully isn't appropriate, professional, or acceptable

  I Was pleasantly surprised to find out they rent cabins and Yurts at Rockort. Saved myself valuable trunk space leaving the tent/air mattress at home. I stayed in the Hideaway Yurt. Very clean and comfortable to stay in. Very affordable. Highly recommended.

  I took my 3 kids to the marina where we rented paddle boards and kayaks and had a great time in the water. Afterward we bought ice cream in the shop, where the manager helped us make a reservation to return again soon.

  The Marina is unorganized and run by teenagers. I suggest the owners take a few courses on how to run a proper business. The dickies food they poorly cook is awful. Our whole camp group was sick for 2 days. Unsanitary conditions, they should be shut down for cooking any kind of food there. I have reported them to the health department. I will not use the marina ever again.

  At the start of the day the teenage attendants (looked to be around 12-13 years old), told us to just grab "whatever" life vests off the wall. They didn't pay any attention of give any direction as to the life vest checkout. Later in the day, Cody (The manager or owner) accused us of stealing a life vest after we returned our rental and demanded we pay an extra $30 to pay for it. The incompetent staff refused to say anything about when they issued us the vests. After about 30 minutes of the owner calling us liars and thieves, he threatened to call the park ranger if we refused to pay the $30 for the "missing" life vest. We payed the 30$ as he was on the phone calling the park ranger to come to force us to pay it. We started bringing our belongings back to the car, and then returned to the Marina building to get a copy of the contract we signed for later review. Cody was standing posted up with a loaded handgun on his hip, and screaming at us to get off the pier, and leave his business immediately. They had cameras on the premises and also refused to review the tapes to watch and see how many vests we walked out with. If you feel like having you money stolen by trigger happy scammers, and being threatened with violent intent, then this is the place for you!

  My family and I rented two jet skis yesterday and I have to say I witnessed the owner treated with such disrespect, but yet He still took care of us and made sure we had a good time on the water then enjoyed some conversations with us as well, I loved the service and the professionalism of all of their employees.

  We rented a pontoon and paddle board for my sister in laws birthday and it was a disaster. All the gear and boats are in dilapidated condition. The pontoon cut out on us multiple times, and the owner Cody tried to charges us for damages we did not do. Cody became very hostile and screamed at my sister-in-law with her children witnessing this! They have been traumatized by this ordeal. This man has serious anger issues. We have filed a formal complaint with the Rockport State Park manager. They have received many complaints against him and will not be renewing his contract when it expires. STAY AWAY!

  Sorry you had a poor experience, unfortunately when equipment is damaged we do expect guests to be responsible for their actions. We are happy to report we are in the process of renewal for another 5 years

  Worst experience ever! I walk in the door to rent a boat, the slovenly guy behind the counter said there is one open now boat available. So I wait in line for 35 minutes while this guy struggles to rent someone a paddle board. The owner lets someone sneak in front of me in line because he are friends with the owner. When it's finally my turn they tell me someone rented it online while I was waiting in line for this guy to figure out how to rent paddle boards. I was told sorry there nothing available now. Extremely rude ownership.
