  John did exceptional! we live in Ohio and NEEDED this boat in FL - NOT an easy task to accomplish and I REALLY don't know that it could have been done with a DIFFERENT partner. We both agree that John went above and beyond!

  Dave and Tom from Manatee Pocket Yacht Sales have assisted us tremendously with the sale of our sailboat. Our Canadian sailboat was really well aged Catalina 30, 1981. And my wife and I were not able to stay with her in Florida any longer. We have signed all the documents with Dave and the entire process of selling the boat was taken care of! And that process was a hard one, as we later uncovered that engine required major repairs as well as some tricky paper work with selling Canadian boat in USA. Yet with big appreciation to that great team, all problems were solved and the buyer was found and the deal was completed. Even though by the end of the 6 months process they were working at a loss, they did not drop us as their clients and had brought it to the end. We are highly recommending their services in selling and buying any time of boat, their knowledge and expertise are of top notch level.

  Thank you to Chip Cramer for an excellent experience purchasing our new Pursuit 255 Offshore! Chip made the remote purchase from MA well worth the trip. The boat was exactly as advertised and he made sure that he answered all of my questions with complete honesty. He also connected me with a local company to go thru the trailer and make sure that it would have no issues on the 1,400 mile journey back to MA. Whether you are near or far, I would without hesitation, recommend using Manatee Pocket Yacht Sales to broker a purchase or sale of a boat.

  I listed our 33 foot trawler with Lee Bowden of Manatee Pocket Yacht Sales. I was very pleased with Lee’s service. He was always enthusiastic about the boat and worked hard to make sure that I got a fair price. One of the many things I liked about Lee was the fact that he often included me in the sales process. I knew the boat very well and Lee understood and appreciated that. I participated in many of the showings. I believed that helped us sell the boat as buyers often have questions that only the owner can answer. Ultimately, Lee was able to sell the boat for close to the asking pricing (after we made a few price adjustments during the listing period). The closing went well and I believe the buyer is very happy with his new boat. During the listing period, Manatee Pocket provided me with a monthly report of activity on my listing. I really appreciated that report and was able to use it, along with Lee's advice, to adjust the price as needed to generate the level of interest I wanted. It is worth noting, however, that the buyer did not come from an internet listing. Rather, the buyer walked into the Manatee Pocket office where he met Lee’s colleague, Tom Whittington, who owns the brokerage. After interviewing the prospective buyer, Tom determined that the gentleman would probably like my boat. Tom referred hime to Lee who showed him the boat and ultimately negotiated the sale. I really appreciated the fact that Tom took the time to learn about my boat even though it was Lee’s listing. They worked together well, giving me the sense that I had a team working on my behalf.

  Best Sales Experience I've had in over 25 years of selling a boat. I've probably bought and or sold over a dozen boats over the years, both in Florida and California. The experience I had with both Tom and Lee at Manatee Pocket Yacht Sales was by far the best both in personal service provided and help with the sea trail and moving of the boat.   My wife and I had the opportunity to work with Capt. Steve Snyder from Manatee and briefly, the amount of time, the professionalism and care taken to guide us through our first boat purchase was exceptional. Having someone like Steve working with us through the process benefitted us two ways - it was a true learning experience and just overall enjoyable. Let me take it all the way back - after multiple attempts trying to contact brokers and owners on my own - Steve was the ONLY person who not only responded, but responded promptly (the next day). He asked all the pertinent questions after hearing our "wants" and ultimately presented a boat that checked all the boxes for us. Since this was our first purchase - Steve took the time to not only educate us on the process but answered every "how" and "why" there was. At no time did he ever pressure or push us to make a decision - he always made sure we were comfortable with every move made.   My wife and I listed our 19' Sea Ray bow rider with Tom Whittington at Manatee Pocket Yacht Sales in April during the height of the Covid-19 lockdown. We didn't expect much in terms of available buyers because of the health crisis but Tom told us otherwise and he was right! Tom kept us informed about each potential buyer and what progress he was making on a regular basis. We were pleasantly surprised that Tom found the right buyers and the boat was sold just before the 4th of July. Having had a negative experience in the past with boat sales people, it was wonderful to work with someone like Tom. He communicated with us frequently, was always pleasant and sincere, and was very familiar with our boat which we're sure made prospective buyers feel comfortable. Tom took care of everything, handled all the paperwork and made the actual transaction so easy, all we had to do was pick up the check!
