  Ina Voloshina saved the day. As a result of a misunderstanding, a large sum of money ($441,094.23) that was needed to close on a real estate purchase got sidetracked. Although the funding was safe, it still wasn't where it needed to be. I spoke to Ina, who has always been assertive in expressing a willingness to assist when needed, and within ten minutes the situation was rectified. The transaction was completed and all is well. I can't express how happy I was when I called the Main Street Bank and Ina was available to assist me, and how grateful to her for saving the day. She deserves ten stars.

  Amazing service, I worked with David Gentleman and he was indeed a Gentleman. Very very easy process with easy mode of communication. They could lock the rate and start the process amidst the covid19 situation when no other lenders were willing to lock, they all were floating rates in market but were willing to wait only. I have 2 other friends of mine refinance through them, will be happy to recommend to more people.

  I had my heat loan closed today in Marlboro office. It was well organized (by appointment which was rather flexible) with all safety measures, the process was very fast and smooth, the staff was very helpful. I also got help to optimize other accounts to get better rates on deposits.

  RE: HELP Main Street Bank answered our call for Help! I have owned a local medical billing business (MD Pro Solutions, Inc.) for 20 Yrs. Our office is located at 54 Main Street, in Lakeville Massachusetts. We employ 35 staff and have a large monthly payroll. We offer full benefits including 100% paid life, short-term, long-term disability and a retirement plan. We applied for the SBA, PPP Loan Program through Santander Bank, N.A. The first day of eligibility on Saturday, April 4 at 3:58AM we submitted our application with all appropriate documents. We were told, and we have proof that we were one of the first companies that filed their application into Santander Bank. We were also told we were in very good shape. We were again told by Santander they would go by order in which applications were received. So, you would assume we were all set. Not so fast!! Our business is down 85% in volume, yet we have kept all staff employed and maintained their full benefits. I received received an email on April 16-2020 at 10:57PM from Santander, that stated they were out of funds for the SBA PPP Loan Program! Out of FUNDS!! Santander bank did not follow the policy as they stated and put forth, otherwise we would have received our PPP Loan. In fact, they mishandled our application and never submitted our paperwork!! This would have all but put us out of business. Then came Main Street Bank to the rescue! What Santander Bank couldn’t deliver and totally mislead us took the professional staff at Main Street Bank less than a day. They took our full application, all our supporting documentation, and filed our loan application to the SBA. Amazingly we had our money in less than 10 days. A small local company doing business in Massachusetts for 20 years could have been put out of business because a large bank didn’t do their Job!   As banks go, Main St is mediocre at best. I think someone forgot to look at a calendar while designing their website. “Archaic” is the first word that comes to mind. “Untested“ is the second. A good example would be trying to download checking account data. You can only access a maximum of 45 days of data at a time. Seriously, 45 days!? In what world is a limit of 45 days appropriate for accessing your own data? And the data that is supposed to be formatted for spreadsheets (csv) is, well, poorly executed. Next is their reports. Just try getting a report for January - December. You’ll most likely end up with February - December. Like I said, UNTESTED. I’ve been designing and developing software since the mid 1980s. I would be ashamed and embarrassed if I released garbage like Main St Bank has.

  Steve, I am sorry for your frustration using the online banking platform, and your suggestions are valuable as we work to continuously make improvements for our customers. While downloading transaction history directly to Excel or Quicken can currently only go back 45 days, you are able to search your transaction history up to 390 days within the online banking platform. If you have signed up for e-Statements, your monthly electronic statements are stored within the system going back up to 7 years from the time your enrolled in e-Statements. If you need to conduct account research beyond that point, we are here to help you with that as well.
