M&M Money Exchange Reviews

Christina Reynoso1They charged my husband 12% service fee off $500. The clerk didn't mention the service fee until the transaction was done. $60 for a service fee was ridiculous, false advertisement as no one charges a ridiculous fee to exchange. Wished we read the other comments before doing our transaction.

Lucia A1Do not recommend at all. False advertisement. They put $22 pesos for each dollar however they charge a tax/commission and they actually pay less than $18 pesos a dollar. Best to go elsewhere unless you don't mind getting ripped off .They will not tell you about the comission you will notice it in the receipt they give you .

Selenia Nouger1I just called to ask for the rate so I can go and get some pesos. The lady on the phone said that the cashier is helping people and is not allow to answer the phone. I asked her to please check the rate because I was driving from far away north and did not want to go all the way to the border to find out if the rate was not good for me...................just in case. She replied , she was busy and could not do it. This woman has no costumer service trainning at all. She is the one who should not answer the phone..................really. I was like WOW!!!!

Priority Tax1BEWARE !!!! I Exchanged $310 . and was charged a TAX. When I felt shortchanged, I asked for my Money Back and the Lady there refused. When I called back to ask what Tax they were charging, the lady said it was "SALES TAX". I had earlier spoken with the State Board of Equalization and confirmed that it was ILLEGAL to charge State Tax on Currency. When I stated this to the Lady there, she was very AGGRESSIVE. In short, this place needs to operate in accordance to State Law. I have just now Filed a TAX EVASION COMPLAINT with the BOE. This place will expect more to come.

Brian Harrison1M & M Money exchange is a RIPOFF!!!!! no exchange business charges Tax or commission for a transaccion except M&M......They had already exchange my money $540.....yes that was $54 commission once I noticed that the pesos tehy gave me were much less then what I expected I asked the cashier: Why did he not tell me about the commission and he said: you did not ask me!, What a THIEF. .they display a sign on their window with a small font in black , with other small ones, how are you suppose to read all these signs before you exchange money. I asked him for my money back and he said he had already done the transaction and nothing he can do, I told him that I was going to call the cops and the BBB and he said.....do what you want. basically he said: " I stoled from you $54 just to give you pesos.

Heidy Bucio1Very rude Lady refused to give me all my money and straight up laughed in my face and told me to leave. After begging her to cancel the transaction once I found out they had ripped me off. Never coming back ever. Also strongly advice you to not even consider exchanging your money here!!!
