  Prices are not as advertised. There was a generator advertised on Craigslist by this company that was listed for $400 in the ad title and had $399.99 listed as the price in the item description. I called to purchase the generator, and spoke to a lady named Whitney. She collected my information, confirmed the price and that the generator ran properly, and told me they were having an issue with their credit card machine and would call me back. The owner called me and told me that he actually wanted the generator himself, and that the price was actually $900. I guess that's what happens when you're a sleezy pawn shop owner. I will not be spending any money here, and I would advise anyone else to shop somewhere else with more honest owners.

  I bought my Fiance a ring from them back when they were in Wyndhurst area. Now I live in Forest and took a few Electronics just to get a loan and see if they'd work with me. The customer service was awesome to be a quote unquote pawn shop. Some people look down on these people saying they're just there waiting for the desparate to come or the addicts who steal. Look, we all make our choices. I'm glad I made my choice to deal with them. They were straight with me, gave me my grace period (my stuff wasn't even there a week) and Christina, Thomas and Whitney all balance eachother out if you watch them work like I did those days. They're good people, making a living just like you and me. Don't judge how, it's legal and you don't hear people saying bad things about gun shows which are the epitome of pawn and sell. Thanks for the business you all and I will be returning I am sure of it. You impressed me and were extremely classy. No Stickers on your electronics saying it was pawned on such and such date that you have to peel off until you damage the item. Everything was together neatly and they were so polite. If I could give them 10 stars I would compared to what's in Lynchburg.

  They were very patient with me. They were polite kind and didn't rush me or make me feel like me I was being rush. I was help and felt like everything I ask for was taking with consideration. I have never been a pawn shop where just because I was looking that I was important and not a waste of time. I was welcome from the time I arrived to the time I left. This will be my got to place from now on even just to come by and chat!

  Everyone here is two faced and treat people poorly. They say one thing and then do another thing. I had other jewelers look at and give a quick appraisal on the same piece of jewelry, and a lady named Christina was obviously trying to rip me off, and not just little bit, but really bad. When I told them I was not interested in selling because the appraisal was low, they immediately got defensive and started insulting me. Uncalled for. Everytime I have been here in the past, they hardly ever seem to be able to able to actually buy anything, they always want to consign jewelry. If they dont have the money to make reasonable offers, they should not advertise themselves as a pawn shop.

  We are not sure what this is about we do not offer consignment at all we used to in the past years ago and have just a few we consign for a few people but have not taken in nor offer consignment so you must be mistaken on that. There is no way any shop can "rip you off" unless you take an offer that was offered to you. You may have had a piece that we may have not been interested in. We are very up front and honest when we make offers. If we feel like it is a piece that is not a current selling piece we will always make an offer based off of the current market. We cannot help the huge retail mark up that consumers pay for an item as we make jewelry ourselves and know what the pieces should be fairly priced. I'm sure if you took your item to the place you originally purchased they would not offer anywhere near what you paid. I will not name names of stores but go to their pre owned section and see the price pre owned and what it was new. One particular it shows new $6999.99 get it pre owned from us now only $1999.99 wow what a difference, funny they are selling it for $5,000 less than new. And exactly what did they give to the person that brought it in. Just because we are a shop that offers to purchase used jewelry does not mean we "have" to buy your item. We are also allowed to either pass or if you must have an offer it would have only been low if it were an item that we didn't feel was sellable and marketable to us. We are in the business like all other shops to buy, sell, trade. Maybe you had a piece you also couldn't sell and brought it to us. We nor I have EVER been rude nor insulted anyone absolutely ever. We always feel terrible if we can't help someone recover what they spent on something. You stated you took your piece to several places....why so many they must not have been interested either or made you an offer that was what you wanted. They can tell you to the moon what it could be worth but did they buy it???? We take our reviews very seriously and can say that this is very far fetched and we will defend this. We never offer consignment so that is the first problem with this. Never ever have we ever been rude. Even when we are treated poorly we handle every situation respectfully.

  It's a good place to shop. The people are friendly and helpful ! I will be going back. I have been a customer for about 8 months and will continue to be a customer !! The prices are good too !!

  The BEST PAWN SHOP IN LYNCHBURG. A lot of pawn shops try to rip you off and give you the lowest $$. But, Lynchburg Jewelry & Loan Inc. are the exception. They are friendly and always give you the best possible deals. Don’t go anywhere else. They are #1. Ask for Thomas. 😀

  Extremely professional. The lady's that were up front were extra nice n helpful. Very knowledgeable about their inventory. I would recommend this place above all others.
